Sprint WILL RELOCK your unlocked device as they did to mine. Not a single incident as friends and family of mine got their RELOCKED to the sprint network. We all had unlocked devices when signed up. Now all our phones are locked to Sprint. Thats illegal.
You have to stay for 90 days to keep the $300 and their unlock policy is 60 days, so while I agree they should not be re-locking phones, you can get it re-unlocked after 60 days and before your 90 day requirement is fulfilled.
Thanks! Ordered the BYOD Amazon SIM on Monday and was sitting on whether to switch my Iphone over. I felt a little dirty about going back to Sprint. I left them 4 years ago (after 18 years as a customer) and said I'd never go back.

Glad I did. $300 is better than $100 and I can still port out in a few months. No contracts on the Kickstarter plan. They automatically waived the activation fee by doing it online as well, but after looking at my confirmation email it says there will be a one-time credit of $30 within 3 invoices however that plays out. My first bill will be charged 30 days from today.

I was concerned with the Amazon reviews saying they were sent 4 of the same SIMs, but it worked flawlessly. Over chat the rep told me which one to use. I also asked if I could double down on both the $300 and $100 Amazon SIM promotion, but was a no go. Worth a shot anyway.

Placed order today and all went fine and received email confirmation however trying to activate now on the site and receive following error on top of screen: 'There are no pending orders in our system for this confirmation number and ZIP code.'

Anyone else get this error message?

I'd try using the Visible number first. If that doesn't work, then contact Sprint Port Dept to use a different number. If you want to use a different number from what you filled out during ordering, you'll have to contact the Port Dept anyway, because what's on the form is what they will use.

I believe it will work as long as it is within 60 days of when it was expired.
Will try that next week when I get the sim cards and report back. My BF transaction tracked within 2 hours. Btw, my confirmation shows the 300 in all 5 lines.

What are your porting out? This offer requires a port-in, from a non-Sprint carrier. You cannot bring Sprint number back.
You can create a new number at Google Voice and port out for $3. Also, I believe, if you call in to Sprint Porting Dept, the transfer can be done real-time instead of waiting days for automated transfer to happen.

Did you use chat or did you actually call them
I ported in 3 lines.
- Line 1: BYOD phone with SIM on hand. Filled out all porting info and it took place as soon as the order was submitted online.
- Line 2: Ordered a pre-owned phone from Sprint and entered porting info with online order. The instructions in the phone shipment said to call to activate when phone is received. So I called. The rep answered right away and porting was done in about 10 minutes.
- Line 3: Online order crashed when submitted. Had to call in to complete order. Sales Rep took all the porting info and completed the porting/activation over the phone.

I had 8 lines to port out from T-Mobile from their last Costco Promo (S10 with Free Active2 watch Bogo offer) so I figured best way to maximize those 8 lines was 4 accounts with 2 lines each and get the referral (extra for referring myself after initial), BF, Sprint $300 each line and the Credit Union $200 per account.
This was prior to finding out that Credit Union $200 is questionable and that 5 lines are $100 + tax.
So now to maximize I need to add 3 lines to each of those accounts (if $300 still qualifies for those) or open 2-3 new no credit check accounts with 5 lines each as I do still have 17 phones and sim cards that I can use.
so credit union stacks with 300 promo?

can we port a number different than the one filled out during the phone line order? I used an expired Visible # for one of my lines. Don't know if it'll work.
It will work if you have the correct account number from customer service - I am the latest success story of at least three - I activated an hour ago - a full seven days into "payment overdue" status.

i dont think it stacks unless you have credit checked u+ lines as mostly sprint will reject if anyone opt for any two giftcards at a time.

If your intent was to receive a $300 gc for byod, you won't get it.

I ordered the LG Tribute Empire and have completed all paperwork and submissions. Anyone know if the device needs to be powered on and line to be in use or will Sprint not care as long as I pay my monthly bill?
