Sprint WILL RELOCK your unlocked device as they did to mine. Not a single incident as friends and family of mine got their RELOCKED to the sprint network. We all had unlocked devices when signed up. Now all our phones are locked to Sprint. Thats illegal.
You have to stay for 90 days to keep the $300 and their unlock policy is 60 days, so while I agree they should not be re-locking phones, you can get it re-unlocked after 60 days and before your 90 day requirement is fulfilled.
Thanks! Ordered the BYOD Amazon SIM on Monday and was sitting on whether to switch my Iphone over. I felt a little dirty about going back to Sprint. I left them 4 years ago (after 18 years as a customer) and said I'd never go back.

Glad I did. $300 is better than $100 and I can still port out in a few months. No contracts on the Kickstarter plan. They automatically waived the activation fee by doing it online as well, but after looking at my confirmation email it says there will be a one-time credit of $30 within 3 invoices however that plays out. My first bill will be charged 30 days from today.

I was concerned with the Amazon reviews saying they were sent 4 of the same SIMs, but it worked flawlessly. Over chat the rep told me which one to use. I also asked if I could double down on both the $300 and $100 Amazon SIM promotion, but was a no go. Worth a shot anyway.

Most people will have trouble with 3rd orders as the alarm bells are starting to go off. Might be safer to stick to just 1 or 2.

This thread will probably explode again in a few months for people that are denied giftcards because they didn't follow the rules or got too greedy.

This deal requires A LOT of patience. Becoming a Sprint customer is a very painful process. I still have one line 10 days old that doesn't work, my third order is not going through, you have to spend hours (not minutes) combined between chat/phone, and I have a Executive Response representative helping me that she is less knowledgeable than me.
I'm just continuing because I'm halfway, but whatever profits come, they are not really free. It is taking much, much more time than just porting lines.

It seems this business is abandoned.

For folks who used Sprint sims from amazon. How did you activate them? The wiki is not clear
Go through the whole activation process online . After you put in your imei #, it will ask you whether you want to buy a sim or have your own sim.

Is there a known solution for this? I see that transaction was approved on my card.

Call 888-788-0788, 1 or 2 (language choice), 2 for fraud, 2 to speak to someone. Tell them you are on a list preventing you from placing orders.

If you are a first time Sprint customer, it will be hell raising. But once you know what to expect and you know how things are done and how to navigate their website, phone swapping etc, it will be not too bad. We all have gone thru this stage.

I only have two compatible phones with me and three other phones (were used on Free one year plan, so I know the imei and iccid) which are currently in my office and it's closed. Don't wanna order those useless LGs. I am wondering how to make it work since I only have two phones with me?

Just submitted rebate, got tracking number for each line, but never receive email confirmation, nothing in the spam folder. Does this happen to anyone? Is there anything to worry about. Thanks
From past experience not a good sign.

Hey guys, this thread has been very informative, but I am confused on one thing- do you buy the LG tribute before porting in, or *while* you are porting in? Thank you.

If you already know the IMEI and icid of your three phones, then that's all you really need to activate.

I did two lines - only received one of two e-mails - used this tracker page to confirm status of rebate submitted and confirm rebate tracking number - used cell number and zip code combination: https://www.sprintpromotionshub.com/#/tracker

Dan
I have submitted two rebates in the past year. One received the email confirmation and one didn't. For the one that received email confirmation, i got the rebate without any issues. For the one that didn't, i had to make repeated calls for over two months to receive it.

So not receiving a confirmation email is not good. Receiving an email is good, but only a necessary condition. It may not be sufficient.

Just my experience. YMMV.

When placing the sprint order use the buy phone option and select the devices, and plan. On number setup page enter the phone number being ported.

If he is using his own phone byod and bringing his own sim, just go to "activate"

I ordered an LG Tribute on the same order with porting in. Provided all the port-in info (phone #, acct #, PIN) in the order. Called Porting a few days later when received the phone; the rep completed the port-in/activation in about 10 minutes.

Supposedly before. The BYOD sign up page with the $300 MC deal doesnt let you buy a device during sign up and you have to enter IMEI. Sent you a pm
