Sprint WILL RELOCK your unlocked device as they did to mine. Not a single incident as friends and family of mine got their RELOCKED to the sprint network. We all had unlocked devices when signed up. Now all our phones are locked to Sprint. Thats illegal.
You have to stay for 90 days to keep the $300 and their unlock policy is 60 days, so while I agree they should not be re-locking phones, you can get it re-unlocked after 60 days and before your 90 day requirement is fulfilled.
Thanks! Ordered the BYOD Amazon SIM on Monday and was sitting on whether to switch my Iphone over. I felt a little dirty about going back to Sprint. I left them 4 years ago (after 18 years as a customer) and said I'd never go back.

Glad I did. $300 is better than $100 and I can still port out in a few months. No contracts on the Kickstarter plan. They automatically waived the activation fee by doing it online as well, but after looking at my confirmation email it says there will be a one-time credit of $30 within 3 invoices however that plays out. My first bill will be charged 30 days from today.

I was concerned with the Amazon reviews saying they were sent 4 of the same SIMs, but it worked flawlessly. Over chat the rep told me which one to use. I also asked if I could double down on both the $300 and $100 Amazon SIM promotion, but was a no go. Worth a shot anyway.

1. In which step of the checkout process on Sprint site, we can add the 2nd , 3rd number? Is it just before checkout?
2. Can we save the Cart & click another new URL from the cashback site to Sprint and continue the same order and add additional lines?
3. Wondering if CB site honor all 5 individual clicks or accept only one link from which the final checkout is completed?
You only need to click once out of cashback site, then gather all phones + lines in cart and checkout.

Oh ok. Thanks. Still the CB site considers all lines & multiply the cashback for all lines in order as they promised with single click?

That's right. When you checkout each phone+line in cart will receive $125 cashback. Or if you choose to only bring lines, then each line will receive $80 cashback.
Note: Sprint will not let you mix lines and phone+lines in same order—must be one or the other.
Numbers you are porting must never have been on Sprint before.

So lmcu denied for me. Is this old news that has already been discussed?

We are unable to process your registration. Your Sprint account is on a special program that is not combinable with the Sprint Credit Union Member Cash Rewards program. To switch to the Cash Rewards program, please, contact Sprint Customer Care at 855-297-1367.
What plan are you on?

edit: nevermind. I checked the status for my U+ and they were denied too.

For the $300 rebate, any issue with selecting ecard instead of physical card? I didn't think there was but someone was mentioning that selecting ecard might be a problem?

eCard is not a problem, you might even get it a week faster, but you can only use it online or over the phone, not in the stores.

With physical card you can use in stores and there might be some chance to cash it out if someone figure out a way.

I have 5 cricket numbers and 5 eligible phones' IMEIs and sims, those phones were used on Sprint free one year plan couple months ago. They were all traded-in to Visible so I believe no body is using them now. Is it possbile to use these five phones as replacements? Do I have to have at least one working phone with me in order to activate the new sprint account? I could swap the device once new sim cards arrive for my iphones. Would this work? would appreciate any help.
That should work, but do you have 5 iphones? Why not just use those phones in the BYOD device ordering process, order sims, activate/port when sims arrive?

Sometimes they send a text to a phone, sometimes they email a code to me. I havent figured out what determines which one they choose.

I bought 5 phones from Sprint to maximize the CB, but I have 2 phones of my own that I want to use. Can I swap out 2 of the phones after I port the numbers or do I have to use the new phones for awhile in order to be able to get the rebate?

Sprint will unlock the device after 50 days. As per T&C, Phone must be active for 90 days and remain in active and in good standing through the card fulfillment process. It is better to request for swap after 90 days. For BYOD, you can request for swap any time.

I used unlocked G voice numbers to order 5 lg phones , when placing the order , I didn't unlock the number, Should I wait until the phones arrive and then unlock the G voice number while do the porting process? or now it's the time to unlock the numbers? Just wondering if Sprint start to process porting before you register account and input the porting info to switch the lines? Thanks.

you actually need the sim the IMEI to port, so you would have to wait for the phones. unlock GV is instant so you can do it whenever you want

I've used a different credit card for each account but I'd like to change the payment to one credit card across all my accounts. I know hpham has done this but does anyone else think this is safe to do?
