Sprint WILL RELOCK your unlocked device as they did to mine. Not a single incident as friends and family of mine got their RELOCKED to the sprint network. We all had unlocked devices when signed up. Now all our phones are locked to Sprint. Thats illegal.
You have to stay for 90 days to keep the $300 and their unlock policy is 60 days, so while I agree they should not be re-locking phones, you can get it re-unlocked after 60 days and before your 90 day requirement is fulfilled.
Thanks! Ordered the BYOD Amazon SIM on Monday and was sitting on whether to switch my Iphone over. I felt a little dirty about going back to Sprint. I left them 4 years ago (after 18 years as a customer) and said I'd never go back.

Glad I did. $300 is better than $100 and I can still port out in a few months. No contracts on the Kickstarter plan. They automatically waived the activation fee by doing it online as well, but after looking at my confirmation email it says there will be a one-time credit of $30 within 3 invoices however that plays out. My first bill will be charged 30 days from today.

I was concerned with the Amazon reviews saying they were sent 4 of the same SIMs, but it worked flawlessly. Over chat the rep told me which one to use. I also asked if I could double down on both the $300 and $100 Amazon SIM promotion, but was a no go. Worth a shot anyway.

I still have a questions. 1/5 phone numbers that I entered into order need to be replaced by another phone number, Will it invalidate my rebate? Thanks
Quote from qwertyuio :
I submitted 5 rebates for my 5 lines.

2 lines were ported in from Lycamobile. I fully expect to get the rebate for these 2 lines. These lines have status:
Missing Channel Code

2 lines were ported out + ported in from Sprint free plan within 2 weeks (do not expect rebates) & 1 line ported in from a VOIP provider (not sure about rebate). These lines have status:
Missing Is Delinquent
Missing Account Sub Type
Missing Account Type
Missing Channel Code

So for those who get status other than "Missing Channel Code", it may be a sign that the rebate may not be approved.
Well, Caught up the last ride of this messy deal thanks for @ReadySmile, @Genghis_Khan, OP, and all you guys here. I have the same question as @Matthew does, plus interested in what happens to @qwertyuio's POPI Sprint lines. That could really help. Anyone has any data points to shed light on? TIA.

EDIT: I saw a comment saying changing numbers to port in is fine. But that is speculation with good faith (since Sprint does want to grab users from competitors). Another issue is that the account I had setup right after getting order confirmation email with online chat, now has the 5 lines port in progress. I declined their phone porting agents for now, thinking about providing info using their website. But guess I had to chat/call; if I can change a ported-in number and still getting that $300 for that particular line. Correct? So here still lies the questions:
(1) whether a number left at the time of order can be changed to another during porting process.
(2) And seems Sprint POPI numbers are just hit-or-miss after reading a couple of hundreds posts. Right?

EDIT 2: All solved with this: https://community.sprint.com/t5/A...626#M27944. will just go as what's done, get that five qualified numbers ported, get the rebate card, then port in and replace numbers for actual use (previously on Sprint)

Curious about your port out from Lyca. What do you choose on the dial menu once you called 612 from your Lyca number? To a real "customer service agent" who can give you the account number and PIN number?

Been calling them several times and waited half an hour or so to be connected to a person. When I asked for my account number and PIN number, I was told I need to talk to "Customer Service" and transferred to the "direct customer service line" (their words) before I could say another word. And ended up just starting waiting in line as I call 612 the first time... Been frustrated. Could you help? Thanks

EDIT: gonna try this https://www.reddit.com/r/NoContra...mobile_is/

yes, $50 prepaid card per line after 90 days. you can have 5 lines for $12 a month plus tax by the gig, and let it sit there until the egg hatches.
Have you been with Xfinity before?

if yes, did you call to cancel?

I signed up last year for a bonus and they haven't completely closed my account.

Hmm. That sucks. You must be in the outer fringe area of a tower. Some one earlier mentioned 'network signal info' app. Kinda fun to play with and watch driving around town. Right now in my home the signal is around -108 dBm and getting around 50 mbps down. But yes during the day it will drop some.

Check ur spam folder.

Several people have reported not getting rebate confirmation emails today, so typo may not be the problem. Hopefully, you took screenshot of tracking numbers displayed on screen immediately after you submitted rebate.
Quote from Woz2000 :
How will you change it? As long as you have tracking info, you should be able to follow along. Did you get Virtual GC? That would be a problem.

What is the wrong email address? J/K, don't tell me, I'll be tempted to register it. LOL <---- hint
i was able to track my rebate with my entire address and email and it would only work with the correct email, which was my intended one... thanks!

my $300 gift card is saved

dunno if you have checked your bill lately but that $2++ a month was just for taxes. that was their old plan pricing. now it is minimum $12/gb a month if you go by the gig with max shared 5 lines...plus taxes... i think

I know this deal is over but those who did 5 lines, do you have to have 5 actual compatible phones, or can you just buy imei's on ebay or something?

The smart move IMO was to purchase 5 refurb LG Tributes @ $49 from sprint. Beee Phrugal was offering $125 CB per line with device purchase. So $625 back with 5 lines and phones. All 5 "refurbished" phones I received were brand new with no talk time

is it possible to do upgrade if a good deal comes out without voiding the $300?

Only if you purchase it outright.
