Sprint WILL RELOCK your unlocked device as they did to mine. Not a single incident as friends and family of mine got their RELOCKED to the sprint network. We all had unlocked devices when signed up. Now all our phones are locked to Sprint. Thats illegal.
You have to stay for 90 days to keep the $300 and their unlock policy is 60 days, so while I agree they should not be re-locking phones, you can get it re-unlocked after 60 days and before your 90 day requirement is fulfilled.
Thanks! Ordered the BYOD Amazon SIM on Monday and was sitting on whether to switch my Iphone over. I felt a little dirty about going back to Sprint. I left them 4 years ago (after 18 years as a customer) and said I'd never go back.

Glad I did. $300 is better than $100 and I can still port out in a few months. No contracts on the Kickstarter plan. They automatically waived the activation fee by doing it online as well, but after looking at my confirmation email it says there will be a one-time credit of $30 within 3 invoices however that plays out. My first bill will be charged 30 days from today.

I was concerned with the Amazon reviews saying they were sent 4 of the same SIMs, but it worked flawlessly. Over chat the rep told me which one to use. I also asked if I could double down on both the $300 and $100 Amazon SIM promotion, but was a no go. Worth a shot anyway.

Ping is 62ms, speed just tested at less than 2mbps. this is after midnight so I doubt congestion is an issue
Which carrier were you using before Sprint and what speed were you getting?

Under Net Strength I get about -116dBm , not sure what that means
The chart below gives the rough idea of signal strength in dBm hug

Usual telecom scam. From day one of this thread others sent out the alert. Sprint has multiple techniques in place to rip back and invalidate this com-on offer. Some may get the offer but many will be disappointed.

The one they pulled on me:

1. complied with the offer on March 15

2. Sprint sent 4-1 sim kit which I paid for as part of the initial online BYOD offer confirmed by email.

3. Opened BYOD link prior to end of offer, proceeded with activation using the --Activation Code-- provided in the original order confirmation email which curiously did not appear in the instruction letter included with 4 in one sim kit.

Information recognized at BYOD activation page link including the phone IMEI.

4. A message displayed in red after entering the sim iccid indicating that the process could not continue: ["Invalid SerialNo and iccid"]

No onscreen instructions given on how to proceed. Per the letter with the kit used the option to call 866-437-1818 to "compete the port-in process on the phone"

5. What followed over two days of time wasting insanity: 17 calls, dropped calls, cold transfers, extensive hold times ( 2 hours 46 minutes on one call alone).

Then this!:
[ "No worry sir I'm going to redo your activation an port-in over the phone and you'll be good to go"]

I was wise enough to know that creating a new order on the phone on the 10th will wipe out the $300 offer causing me to ask.

["No worry sir I'll make sure you get the best promotion available today"] !!!!!!!

One problem encountered was agents telling me: "Can't access your account with your pin number" They should have asked for Activation Code instead which does grant them access to account but apparently they are trained trained to insist on the "pin".

6. Agent sends a pin re-set link that can't work because (i) don't have a user name or password and (ii) can't work because you have not ever created a user account and can not create one until after activation.

Too many numbers: two order numbers, one each for the service and one for the sim kit order, plus two confirmation numbers, plus enterprise order number, plus delivery order number, plus billing system order number, plus account number.

Good luck trying to get an agent to even open your account ( Must tell them to enter Activation Code to grant access but 9/10 times they just argue insisting on pin.)

Please ask yourself: "Is my time and sanity worth the remote chance of getting a gift card if this remote chance of 'reward' requires multiple days out of life plus double dose of blood pressure medicine?

T-mobile now owns Sprint. TMO has the worst reputation of all for lying, puling scams, over-selling available slots on cell towers for a particular community, time-wasting trouble shoot your phone as first requirement, lying, over-billing and not pushing through promised credits, lousy time-wasting deceitful customer service and practices in general. Not to mention poor call quality, sketchy coverage.

Granted, a tiny number of Sprint-TMO CSR's are well trained knowledgeable and genuinely interested in providing the best service however there is little they can do about carefully calculated fraud at the top.
I can't speak to your experience with Sprint, but you're dead wrong on TMO. I've been with them for like 17 years and always had a fantastic customer service experience with them. Heck, for the S10 BOGO rebate, they actually called me to ensure ingot paid the rebate after a submission issue.

Sprint is blowing up my phone wanting to do the number transfers but I'm not due to get the phones until Monday. And I'd rather do it all online!!
This happened to me, and they said transfer was college when it wasn't. I still had to do each manually from a separate phone. Sprint CS is terrible. I really hope TMO doesn't become like that, due to merger. The best thing that ever happened to TMO was John Levers. Not sure how things will change with his leaving and the merger.

Hi, I emailed "[email protected]" to ask if LMCU $200 & Sprint $300 byod can both stack and this was their reply:

"Thank you for contacting Sprint. I am happy to assist you with your
questions about Sprint Perks for Credit Union Members.

Your account is currently enrolled in Sprint Perks for Credit Union
Members.

$100 will be deposited in your credit union checking or savings account
for the phone numbers you registered up to 2 lines.

$100 will be deposited in your credit union checking or savings account
annually, starting next year.

To receive these benefits:
• Your Sprint account remains active, current and enrolled in the offer.
• At least one line on your account must be active on the Sprint plan
Unlimited Plus or Unlimited Premium.

Check the status of your registration approval at
www.lovemycreditunion.org/reward-tracker.

This offer cannot be combined with any other Sprint offer.

Also, to provide detail regarding the BYOD program, a voice call would
probably be more effective, you may contact our Customer Care Department
at 888-211-4727. They are open Monday - Friday: 6:00 AM - 10:00 PM,
Saturday: 7:00 AM - 9:00 PM,and Sunday: 8:00 AM - 9:00 PM."
LOL. Nice job not answering the question.

Well, Caught up the last ride of this messy deal thanks for @ReadySmile, @Genghis_Khan, OP, and all you guys here. I have the same question as @Matthew does, plus interested in what happens to @qwertyuio's POPI Sprint lines. That could really help. Anyone has any data points to shed light on? TIA.

EDIT: I saw a comment saying changing numbers to port in is fine. But that is speculation with good faith (since Sprint does want to grab users from competitors). Another issue is that the account I had setup right after getting order confirmation email with online chat, now has the 5 lines port in progress. I declined their phone porting agents for now, thinking about providing info using their website. But guess I had to chat/call; if I can change a ported-in number and still getting that $300 for that particular line. Correct? So here still lies the questions:
(1) whether a number left at the time of order can be changed to another during porting process.
(2) And seems Sprint POPI numbers are just hit-or-miss after reading a couple of hundreds posts. Right?

EDIT 2: All solved with this: https://community.sprint.com/t5/A...626#M27944. will just go as what's done, get that five qualified numbers ported, get the rebate card, then port in and replace numbers for actual use (previously on Sprint)
Seems your order is a 5 lines order. When you ordered, they asked you to re-fill the porting request form with port in number only, sprint do not allow you change this info on your own, but they can change this info on their end....either modifying the existing porting request form, or submit a new one. Doesn't affect your eligibility for $300 as long you port in a phone number. Yeah best way is to port in the lines that you entered initially. Sprint checks active line(s) on account for $300 to see if they are ported, go to online account, check Transfer status, if you have 5 active lines with transfer completed. You are safe. Link to check transfer status, https://www.sprint.com/en/my-spri...board.html

Edit:
Change port in number before port, do not change number after port.

Anyone can assist with my situation. Ups was suppose to deliver and they assumed it was incorrect name and address. They did not hold package at hub rather sending it back to sprint. What are my options? Tried calling sprint and T-Mobile kept picking up. If they send me replacement would that impact rebate?

I know this deal is over but those who did 5 lines, do you have to have 5 actual compatible phones, or can you just buy imei's on ebay or something?
I had imeis and phones that passed the checker. There was also the option to buy phones from S during the ordering process, some were buying refurbs at $49 Only downside was higher OOP and order had to be all BYOD sims or all phones. Others got phones from various sources locally (FB marketplace, Ebay, Etc.) HTH Smilie

I found the earlier post. Thanks to
hpham53 for posting, Network Signal Info. Reps to him.

https://slickdeals.net/forums/showpost.php?p=136117139&postcount=6571

and later added: It'll show the signal strength in bars by default; touch the screen to change it to dial-and-needle.

Great for checking your home wifi as well!

Is this phone purchase or BYOP sim? Call UPS ASAP to deliver it again or ask them to put it on a nearby UPS location for you to pick up. Did you enter wrong address? Suppose to call UPS to correct the address early. Ups normally just drop packages outside...only if sender asks for signature....

Edit:
If you can't get it redelivered, and it is sim purchase, get sim from amazon. And enter these sim from amz on Activation. If for phone purchase, and if ups is no help, you need to call sprint to see what they can do for you

I just checked on the rebate status of my line 3 which was showing Invalid Activate Date on 4/10/20. On 4/11/20 I resubmitted it using THE SAME info used previously (Purchase Date, Line phone number). Today 4/12/20, the status looks more "normal", no more Invalid Activation Date. Some of the missing stuff should go away when its bill is paid. See attachment. A ray of hope.
@Yamaha Rick, if I'm not mistaken, some of your lines had Invalid Activation Date. You might want to resubmit them. Good Luck.

I had accurate address but ups screwed up and sent it back to sprint. I have escalated it but gotten no response. This was the iPhone X offer where I paid $321 including tax. Any ideas? Sprint wasn't helpful either

Once Ups initiates the send back to sender process, no help. Maybe escalate it and complain to ups rep from higher tier who has authority. Keep calling ups. Mind you to post the current status of the tracking number? Ups supposed to do re-delivery attempt once before sending it back.
