Glad I did. $300 is better than $100 and I can still port out in a few months. No contracts on the Kickstarter plan. They automatically waived the activation fee by doing it online as well, but after looking at my confirmation email it says there will be a one-time credit of $30 within 3 invoices however that plays out. My first bill will be charged 30 days from today.
I was concerned with the Amazon reviews saying they were sent 4 of the same SIMs, but it worked flawlessly. Over chat the rep told me which one to use. I also asked if I could double down on both the $300 and $100 Amazon SIM promotion, but was a no go. Worth a shot anyway.

Even after telling them that my order confirmation states $100 as my monthly charges for U+

You will NOT get anywhere with chat or calling the regular 800 number unless you talk to a supervisor so they can compare accounts.

he said to call back after a month if bill still isn't correct
Details inside shows following:
"International Roaming is not included when going through No Credit Check. International calling is available after 6 months in good standing."

Sprint upper mgnt knows the $10 discount billing issue and promises they will look at it and correct it soon. (The one who gets the $50 credits now may benefit by additional $50 from this when they backscript their system if they apply $50 credits again)
But no favorable result for the $300 rebate yet.
I believe downgrading from u+ to basics makes no difference on your rebate status since basics plan also is an eligible plan.
But changing your phone/line/account after they are active on sprint will. Because new changes were entered in sprint system after 4/9/20. Sprint will response negatively to everything that is entered in their system post 4/9/20. Such as invalid rebate status or no $10 discount per line. Just my insight(can't confirm it)
Edit:
Strongly recommend not to change anything to your account. Because if your rebate is denied and you ask why, the sprint rep will just use b/c you change blah-blah as an excuse for your rebate denial.
