Sprint WILL RELOCK your unlocked device as they did to mine. Not a single incident as friends and family of mine got their RELOCKED to the sprint network. We all had unlocked devices when signed up. Now all our phones are locked to Sprint. Thats illegal.
You have to stay for 90 days to keep the $300 and their unlock policy is 60 days, so while I agree they should not be re-locking phones, you can get it re-unlocked after 60 days and before your 90 day requirement is fulfilled.
Thanks! Ordered the BYOD Amazon SIM on Monday and was sitting on whether to switch my Iphone over. I felt a little dirty about going back to Sprint. I left them 4 years ago (after 18 years as a customer) and said I'd never go back.

Glad I did. $300 is better than $100 and I can still port out in a few months. No contracts on the Kickstarter plan. They automatically waived the activation fee by doing it online as well, but after looking at my confirmation email it says there will be a one-time credit of $30 within 3 invoices however that plays out. My first bill will be charged 30 days from today.

I was concerned with the Amazon reviews saying they were sent 4 of the same SIMs, but it worked flawlessly. Over chat the rep told me which one to use. I also asked if I could double down on both the $300 and $100 Amazon SIM promotion, but was a no go. Worth a shot anyway.

I think any U+ account activated after 4/9 will have that same billing issue in addition to the rebate problem.
Wasted time on chat & over he phone so far and no help except the choice to change to U basic.....useless.
Even after telling them that my order confirmation states $100 as my monthly charges for U+

When I told him about the other account, I told him it was my son's. It had a slightly different first name.
I also thought about that, could could easily say the other account is my wife's because it is in her name. Then they might wonder how one household needs 10 lines. I'll think about going this route within the next few days.

I don't think having 10 lines is any of their business. We could have friends using the line.

You will NOT get anywhere with chat or calling the regular 800 number unless you talk to a supervisor so they can compare accounts.

1st call I made I requested for a supervisor and supervisor did a manual $50 credit after he compared another account.

he said to call back after a month if bill still isn't correct

I switched to sprint two weeks age and submitted rebates, everything good so far. Unfortunately I was trying to make international calls but international calling is disabled for new customers so I called customer service to enable it, they did and I was able to make a call but next day it was still blocked so I called again ad they fix it, and the same every other day and no one seems to know what was going on. so today I called again and they finally find out that " since February 2020 for new customers on no credit check line international calls are disabled for first 6 month " I wish I knew that before I switched to sprint! no information about that what so ever can't even add international calling add-on . The only solution that they offered if to switch to credit check line, but as far as the rep said it will change account ID, so if the ID is changed the account id will be invalid for rebate because its close. im waiting for rebate processing department to call me back regarding this issue but it takes time and no one seems to know what to do witch it, if the id changes I would have to resubmit the rebate but since rebate period ended on 04/09.20 it will be invalidated . Anyone have the same issue ?any suggestions ?
Yes. I believe so changing account number will highly likely invalidate your rebates. They do disclose the fact no international calling for no Cc account in first 6 months when you click to expand "No credit check required" when selecting a service plan.
Details inside shows following:
"International Roaming is not included when going through No Credit Check. International calling is available after 6 months in good standing."

I just checked on one of my accounts with the "invalid activation" purchased before 9th activated on 10 and my 1st bill from Sprint is $175 total fot U+ instead of $100 + taxes...roughly $109
Hi, same with me. should be $100 5 lines for unlimited plus, but came out $109.33. When I looked at detailed billing, I found that the fifth line " bring/buy discount -unlimited plan the discount showed minus $0.67, while the other four lines all showed minus $10. I checked my other account, same 5 lines plan, the monthly charge was $100, instead of $109.33 No idea how this even happened ? Will call to ask. Any idea?

Did you enroll in sprint complete accidentally? If you activated before 4/9/20, you should get the $10 discount...

No Sprint complete, the lines were all activated on 9th with the help from porting dept. Strange is, the first four lines have $10 discount except the fifth line , which only gave $0.67 discount?

In summary:
Sprint upper mgnt knows the $10 discount billing issue and promises they will look at it and correct it soon. (The one who gets the $50 credits now may benefit by additional $50 from this when they backscript their system if they apply $50 credits again)

But no favorable result for the $300 rebate yet.

I believe downgrading from u+ to basics makes no difference on your rebate status since basics plan also is an eligible plan.
But changing your phone/line/account after they are active on sprint will. Because new changes were entered in sprint system after 4/9/20. Sprint will response negatively to everything that is entered in their system post 4/9/20. Such as invalid rebate status or no $10 discount per line. Just my insight(can't confirm it)

Edit:
Strongly recommend not to change anything to your account. Because if your rebate is denied and you ask why, the sprint rep will just use b/c you change blah-blah as an excuse for your rebate denial.

Login online account, my preference, my account (on the left side of my preference) look at the line that is having problem. Or download the sprint app, log in and see if any add-on service to this line.

Download and fund Google hangouts/Google voice. You can make international calls thru it with pretty good rates. I've done it and they are cheaper than Sprint's rates.
