Sprint WILL RELOCK your unlocked device as they did to mine. Not a single incident as friends and family of mine got their RELOCKED to the sprint network. We all had unlocked devices when signed up. Now all our phones are locked to Sprint. Thats illegal.

You have to stay for 90 days to keep the $300 and their unlock policy is 60 days, so while I agree they should not be re-locking phones, you can get it re-unlocked after 60 days and before your 90 day requirement is fulfilled.

Thanks! Ordered the BYOD Amazon SIM on Monday and was sitting on whether to switch my Iphone over. I felt a little dirty about going back to Sprint. I left them 4 years ago (after 18 years as a customer) and said I'd never go back.

Glad I did. $300 is better than $100 and I can still port out in a few months. No contracts on the Kickstarter plan. They automatically waived the activation fee by doing it online as well, but after looking at my confirmation email it says there will be a one-time credit of $30 within 3 invoices however that plays out. My first bill will be charged 30 days from today.

I was concerned with the Amazon reviews saying they were sent 4 of the same SIMs, but it worked flawlessly. Over chat the rep told me which one to use. I also asked if I could double down on both the $300 and $100 Amazon SIM promotion, but was a no go. Worth a shot anyway.

Yes. hpham_53's comment- According to YamahaRick, you can buy Money Orders at Walmart using VISA GCs but not Mastercard GCs. You then deposit the M.O. to your bank account.

That's what Rick did at Staples. He had to pay around 3.5% fee ($6.98 fee for a $200 VISA card), but they're running a special no-fee from 6/7 to 6/13, max $200 per customer.

Can you please explain to me how I can buy a visa gift card at a staples store with just a card number and cvv from myprepaidcard.com , I don't think the associate will let me do this, I would probably need to request a physical gift card for 3 dollars from them.

Don't worry about the limit. Many stores don't enforce them. I buy $2-3K when a promo comes around and then load them to my BB at Walmart.

BTW, it was me (and not Rick) who mentioned you shouldn't cash out of BB either via bank acct or ATM. They most likely will close the acct. Just use their bill pay service and the card itself (where accepted without any additional charges).

I pay insurance, utilities, property taxes, college tuition, etc. with this. I have no need to cash out.

You can buy MO with MC as well. It is just that it is more likely to run into issues (compared to VGC) at Walmart, especially when you try to drain the full amt.

I usually configure my own PIN for these GC before I use them to load BB or buy MO.

The $50 referral cards that people have received so far are physical cards. See attachment.

Why bother with this? Can't you just use the Sprint MC gc directly with all the accounts?

I don't have many bills, so when the $1500 (5 x $300) shows up, I prefer to find a path to (fee free) cash. If my cards show up by Saturday, I should be good. Staples does have a one card per customer limit, but their POS system will take several at a time; I ~think~ five, but don't quote me on that.

With some merchants (utilities, insurance, etc) there isn't a way to pay with multiple $50 GCs, so you'll have to load them into a card like Bluebird to make big payments.

I requested physical cards.

I received virtual cards with a TMo offer earlier this year. But I had no choice. I'll avoid offers with virtual cards unless there is a huge payout.
