Sprint WILL RELOCK your unlocked device as they did to mine. Not a single incident as friends and family of mine got their RELOCKED to the sprint network. We all had unlocked devices when signed up. Now all our phones are locked to Sprint. Thats illegal.
You have to stay for 90 days to keep the $300 and their unlock policy is 60 days, so while I agree they should not be re-locking phones, you can get it re-unlocked after 60 days and before your 90 day requirement is fulfilled.
Thanks! Ordered the BYOD Amazon SIM on Monday and was sitting on whether to switch my Iphone over. I felt a little dirty about going back to Sprint. I left them 4 years ago (after 18 years as a customer) and said I'd never go back.

Glad I did. $300 is better than $100 and I can still port out in a few months. No contracts on the Kickstarter plan. They automatically waived the activation fee by doing it online as well, but after looking at my confirmation email it says there will be a one-time credit of $30 within 3 invoices however that plays out. My first bill will be charged 30 days from today.

I was concerned with the Amazon reviews saying they were sent 4 of the same SIMs, but it worked flawlessly. Over chat the rep told me which one to use. I also asked if I could double down on both the $300 and $100 Amazon SIM promotion, but was a no go. Worth a shot anyway.

So one of the two remaining rebates now show invalid? The other one still shows entered for final processing just like before? What a mess.

You hope that USPS didn't put one of the rebates in ur neighbor's mailbox.

Good luck.
Yeah, but the worries may be unneeded stress on my part, as hpham said, it may still be in the system somewhere.

Of course, all of us have spent a decent amount of time with this rebate offer. Dollar wise, I'm out only $351.99 (three months' service). But, I have in hand, so far, $1328.68. With $1300-1400 remaining to be seen. I still expect Sprint and BF to meet their obligations, but I will not cry if the world falls apart first.

Status change is fairly real-time based on what my friend said. They removed the speedbump and he checked the status after an hour on RHQ site and it reflected the change.
The agent told me i will get the gift cards in 5 business days and its actually will be my 3months completing in 5 days.. So possible that she scheduled status update to reflect in future after 5 days?

Did you get a status change on rebateshq, at least seeing the "valid" ?

That was not my experience calling the promotions department about my referral/referee issue. They said yesterday it was "escalated" but no perceptible change on any status sites.

Fourth attempt to fix this issue - hope fourth time is the charm.

Dan
I received one referral approval on 6/2 and it didn't enter on rebateshq until 6/5, so probably give it a few days to enter in the system if they claimed they've approved your referral.

That doesn't sound right. It is possible, but less likely. People who were told as such actually saw the rebate status change before they received their cards like YRick and tryCatchDealExcption.

With the Sprint deal, so far I've spent about $500 on phones and 3 months of bills. The $500 in referral cards make it even. I didn't do the perks. I'll count the CB when I actually get them from TCB.
I made $525 with the T-mo deal, which was really hassle-free.
I'll know next month how the AT&T deal pans out.

Anyone use their $50 referral card at staples? How do you get the 5% credit? How long does it take to get?

TIA

You are probably the biggest winner. Sprint, TMo, ATT. Awesome. Make that retirement more enjoyable. Way to go.

It took just a few days to post. Purchase on Saturday 6 June; 5% credit posted on Monday, 8 June. Used the small 5% cashback to buy Amzn gcs for myself.

I think YamahaRick is the man. He'll make as much profit as I do, by doing just the Sprint deal. I was one of the "pathfinders" on the Sprint deal, so didn't know about the $100/5-line plan, TCB pretty much pays for costs of used phones from Sprint, CU/Walgreens perks, etc.
