Glad I did. $300 is better than $100 and I can still port out in a few months. No contracts on the Kickstarter plan. They automatically waived the activation fee by doing it online as well, but after looking at my confirmation email it says there will be a one-time credit of $30 within 3 invoices however that plays out. My first bill will be charged 30 days from today.
I was concerned with the Amazon reviews saying they were sent 4 of the same SIMs, but it worked flawlessly. Over chat the rep told me which one to use. I also asked if I could double down on both the $300 and $100 Amazon SIM promotion, but was a no go. Worth a shot anyway.

With these rebate cards, eventhough they are just like GCs, the advantage is that they have your name. So these stores won't give hard time. With regular GCs, it's not as easy. Depends on who the cashier is.
Short Story: I bought a $300 money order at Dillons (Krogers) with six $50 GCs and paid $0.88 for the fee.
Long Story: I went to Walmart. Got there at 8:35pm and they had closed at 8:30pm. Duh! Not wanting to waste a trip, I stopped at the local Dillons. Asked the nice lady at the C.S. counter if I could buy a money order with Prepaid Mastercards. She said "Yes, as long as they're debit cards and you have the PINs for them". I told her I wanted to buy a $300 m.o,, she keyed in $300 then I swiped the cards and entered the PINs, one at a time. The balance due went down $50 each time I swiped a card. The first 4 cards went fine but the 5th one kept getting declined due to invalid PIN. Good thing I brought a couple of extra cards, so I swapped the bad card with another one. After using six "full" cards, I used the $1 left on one card to pay the $0.88 fee. Thanked the nice lady and left the store.
On the way home, I stopped at my bank's ATM machine and deposited the $300 m.o. into my checking account. Mission Accomplished.
Just name and address or what else..?
I have same issue with my both the referral cards.. So it will be great if i can get virtual cards too..
Edit - Not sure how will they do prorate if we port out from Sprint during initial week of 4th month because many of us planned to port out after GC.

same. said to wait for 72 hrs. didn't provide phone interaction/confirmation # and didn't ask for one. Will allow the 72 hrs to receive email.
EDIT: That Sprint link is weird. It works fine when not in the post, but fails in the post. Search for "Sprint Terms & Conditions" if you want to read the whole thing.
Today, I made (2) calls in to the Sprint 844#. The first rep was ZERO help and ended up transferring me to a dead-end hang up after 30 minutes on the phone. The last phone call lasted ~50 minutes but supposedly it is fixed and the rebate will be processed and in the mail within 3-5 business days. The rep was helpful and communicated that they are receiving a lot of calls about the denied rebate. He went to the manager for approval and they contacted the rebate house to ensure it would be processed in 3-5 days. I have a confirmation # that is supposed to ensure the rebate is valid and will be paid shortly. Fingers crossed...
