Sprint WILL RELOCK your unlocked device as they did to mine. Not a single incident as friends and family of mine got their RELOCKED to the sprint network. We all had unlocked devices when signed up. Now all our phones are locked to Sprint. Thats illegal.
You have to stay for 90 days to keep the $300 and their unlock policy is 60 days, so while I agree they should not be re-locking phones, you can get it re-unlocked after 60 days and before your 90 day requirement is fulfilled.
Thanks! Ordered the BYOD Amazon SIM on Monday and was sitting on whether to switch my Iphone over. I felt a little dirty about going back to Sprint. I left them 4 years ago (after 18 years as a customer) and said I'd never go back.

Glad I did. $300 is better than $100 and I can still port out in a few months. No contracts on the Kickstarter plan. They automatically waived the activation fee by doing it online as well, but after looking at my confirmation email it says there will be a one-time credit of $30 within 3 invoices however that plays out. My first bill will be charged 30 days from today.

I was concerned with the Amazon reviews saying they were sent 4 of the same SIMs, but it worked flawlessly. Over chat the rep told me which one to use. I also asked if I could double down on both the $300 and $100 Amazon SIM promotion, but was a no go. Worth a shot anyway.

Do you need to subtract the amount they charge for MO when you request how much you want on the MO?
When I buy MO with a GC, I always take into acct the amt they charge for MO. I always leave a penny or two on the card. That way card stays alive. I acct for all these before I tell them the amt for MO so I don't have pay anything separately. I want to finish the transaction as quickly as possible and leave.

With these rebate cards, eventhough they are just like GCs, the advantage is that they have your name. So these stores won't give hard time. With regular GCs, it's not as easy. Depends on who the cashier is.

It's one of those days that nothing went right...but I overcame the difficulties. Big Grin

Short Story: I bought a $300 money order at Dillons (Krogers) with six $50 GCs and paid $0.88 for the fee.

Long Story: I went to Walmart. Got there at 8:35pm and they had closed at 8:30pm. Duh! Not wanting to waste a trip, I stopped at the local Dillons. Asked the nice lady at the C.S. counter if I could buy a money order with Prepaid Mastercards. She said "Yes, as long as they're debit cards and you have the PINs for them". I told her I wanted to buy a $300 m.o,, she keyed in $300 then I swiped the cards and entered the PINs, one at a time. The balance due went down $50 each time I swiped a card. The first 4 cards went fine but the 5th one kept getting declined due to invalid PIN. Good thing I brought a couple of extra cards, so I swapped the bad card with another one. After using six "full" cards, I used the $1 left on one card to pay the $0.88 fee. Thanked the nice lady and left the store.
On the way home, I stopped at my bank's ATM machine and deposited the $300 m.o. into my checking account. Mission Accomplished.
I'm surprised the cashier didn't give you a hard time for having to pay with so many different cards

Never received one of my $50 referral even tho RH said it was received on 05/25 and allow 30 days to receive. Decided to chat with Sprint because i received the rest of my referral Gift Cards except one, so Sprint rep who gave me the following email [email protected] (Sprint MasterCard Promotions) and to explain my situation. Got a propmt reply within an hr. They said it should have arrived on or before 06/09 with my information along with a Tracking Number and for lost, stolen or never received to call Prepaid Reward Cards at 855-512-5929. I call and they were able to confirm all information, cancelled the prepaid card that I never received an I opted to get a virtual card because they were going to cancel and resend physical card. Will be waiting for Sprint email containing instructions to claim virtual card.

You never tell them what card you are using. That's the golden rule.

I signed up on 3/13. once it reached 90 days then it said denied on status. I had to call to get it fixed. She said I should receive it no later than 7/1.

So you are paying for 4th month too..?
Quote from hpham_53 :
With a typical case, you can't avoid being charged for the 4th month. On the 91st day from activation, Sprint makes the final decision. The 91st day is the beginning of the 4th service period. Even though the 4th bill won't be due/autopaid until about 3 weeks from that date, you're obligated to pay that bill because you're already into the 4th service period by the time the decision was made.
Yes. We can't avoid 4th month.

Edit - Not sure how will they do prorate if we port out from Sprint during initial week of 4th month because many of us planned to port out after GC.

It was an automated system, I pressed option for lost or stolen to continue with live operator. I gave tracking number to operator that was provided by Sprint reply email (see below). Even tho it says Monday - Saturday i was able to speak with someone.

We have found an approved registration for the Referral Rewards Offer on
05/26/2020. Your $50 reward card was sent to the address (your address) on 05/26/2020 and should have received on or before 06/09/2020.

Card Details:

- Card Holder's Name: (Your Name)
- Sprint Phone Number: (Number that was used to register)
- Reward Amount: $50
- Tracking Number: XXXXXXXXX

For cards that were mailed but lost, stolen, or never received, please call Prepaid Reward Cards at 855-512-5929 during business hours Monday through Saturday 8 A.M. to 9 P.M. Central Standard Time.

From https://www.sprint.com/en/legal/t...#terminate , in the question "How Do I Terminate Services?": If Services are terminated before the end of your invoicing cycle, we won't prorate charges to the date of termination and you won't receive a credit or refund for any unused Services.

EDIT: That Sprint link is weird. It works fine when not in the post, but fails in the post. Search for "Sprint Terms & Conditions" if you want to read the whole thing.

OK so, my $300 rebate went from the "speed bump" to the "denied because sales location" like a lot of other folks here.
Today, I made (2) calls in to the Sprint 844#. The first rep was ZERO help and ended up transferring me to a dead-end hang up after 30 minutes on the phone. The last phone call lasted ~50 minutes but supposedly it is fixed and the rebate will be processed and in the mail within 3-5 business days. The rep was helpful and communicated that they are receiving a lot of calls about the denied rebate. He went to the manager for approval and they contacted the rebate house to ensure it would be processed in 3-5 days. I have a confirmation # that is supposed to ensure the rebate is valid and will be paid shortly. Fingers crossed...
