Wish they would come out with a brushless version that competes with Milwaukee or makita version. Around 700-1000ft/lbs. I know ryobi makes a brushless version but it has less torque than the brushed version for some odd reason.
Bought this a while back and it has been good for my purpose. I use this for the lugs on my car for when I track it. I use the same battery for pumping up my tires with the portable air pump that was on SD a few days ago as well. Both have served me well during a track day for my car pumping up and changing out wheels/tires. Even was able to allow my friends to pump up their tires as well.
Because the Ryobi is sufficiently powerful for many people's needs, costs under a hundred bucks, and is compatible with the rest of their Ryobi tools and batteries.

Was this deal in Feb (last month). Was hoping the deal would be sweeter this time around during Ryobi days.

+1

Waiting for this to happen as I have an old model rated around 150ft/lbs and it can struggle with lug nuts. If I were starting to invest in a cordless ecosystem right now, it wouldn't be with Ryobi.

Not exactly a repost. That was B&M YMMV clearance, this is free shipping to all.

I have been looking for a simple solution for lug nuts. This should be fine to handle it.

Video I found helpful on comparison between the older gen of this (P260) and a Dewalt Brushless XR.

Both could handle some high torque applications just fine.

I need the brushless drill or brushless hammer drill. Do these ever go on sale?

Yeah, deals are running now. ThIs is an impact wrench though, not impact driver. Different tool for different purpose (sockets vs philips head for screws for example)

Not worth $99 IMHO, it does NOT have the torque they advertise. May be $50. The original price of $307.00 is just ludicrous. LOL

I would tend to agree. I was about to bite on this but I have the 3/8 version and it is a complete joke. I'm actually confused at just how ineffective it is. Like a using a toy to try and get something broke loose. Very dissatisfied with it.

I bought a milwaukee 1/2 stubby for 125 on ebay and bought a battery and charger for another 50 bucks.
This little guy is great. I returned the ryobi. To big and weak. It's like a 50/50 that it's going to take lugs off.

FYI folks looking for an impact wrench you can take advantage of the Home Depot Milwaukee M18 Nate tool promo to get their Mid-Torque down to about 125$ if you get as close as possible to $500 and then return the tools you don't want.
