hey guys imma share what I posted on the AT&T forums to no avail. Luckily, I was able to send the email to the executive offices and the Office of the President called me yesterday. They're working on a resolution for me.

-----
ONLINE ORDERS ALWAYS CANCELLED AS WELL AS 3rd party like BestBuy - I am sure I am FLAGGED.

WARNING: VERY LONG, WITH SO MANY LIES AND DECEPTION AND TERRIBLE BUSINESS PRACTICES

FOR YEARS, I have never been able to get AT&T services online. My orders get cancelled within 24 hours. My only option is to go into the store.

I. WANT. THIS. FIXED.

MY RECENT EXPERIENCE:

SAME GENERIC EMAIL EVERY GOD (Edited per community guidelines) TIME:

Number not displayed

Status: CANCELED

We couldn't verify this order 23-79931**** really came from you. For your security, we canceled it. Don't worry. If there was a hold on your card, we'll release the funds. Let us help you reorder your item(s). Visit an AT&T store. Be sure to bring your identification.

So what I DID differently this time, is I WENT TO THE STORE and SET UP A POST PAID LINE WITH MY ID.

I then WAITED the required 72 hours to make sure that when I submit an order online, to add lines, the text verification will actually GO THROUGH (If you attempt to do it immediately after setting up service, the VERIFICATION CODE NEVER WORKS)

The verification went through and I got two separate orders in, one for 1 more line, and another order for 3 more lines. (Some (Edited per community guidelines) reason 4 lines wouldn't work and I'd get an UH OH message with DIRECT TV NUMBER to call for support?!?)

Within 24 hours, SAME CANCELLATION EMAIL FOR BOTH ORDERS. CLEARLY I AM IDENTIFIED since I SET UP SERVICE IN THE STORE ALREADY.

I've talked to EVERY God (Edited per community guidelines) DEPARTMENT AND HOW IS IT that NO ONE CAN HELP ME AND FIX IT?

E-Comm - Tells me orders are fine, Order still gets cancelled.

Credit Department/Analyst Review - I can't speak with these guys directly so I get a rep to help me out. They tell me my account is fine and the Credit Check is fine (They are looking at the number I ALREADY set up just fine in the store). The reps tell me they don't have a way of looking up PAST CANCELLED ORDERS.

Global Fraud Team - Call 8778445584 and these reps repeatedly tell me that this number is for EXPERIENCING FRAUD, or SUSPICIOUS ACTIVITY on an existing account. Refusing to help me.

In between these calls over the course of about a week, I had an AT&T Escalations Help Desk rep call me back and leave the SHORTEST god (Edited per community guidelines) message: "Hi, this is AT&T Escalations Help Desk calling to let you know that you do HAVE to go into the store to complete your order. The Escalation team will NOT be able to assist"

Lastly, I called AT&T Retail store today where I signed up for service explaining my situation. I told the manager there that we NEED to get in touch with the fraud department or something to remove any FLAGS from my account or at least do SOMETHING where I can place orders online. He agreed to talk to the Credit department but suggested I call AT&T Loyalty Department directly.

AT&T Loyalty Team - This guy looked at my cancelled orders, put me on hold. Advised me that he was absolutely positive he knows why my orders are getting cancelled. Apparently AT&T System doesn't show an EMAIL on file, so when I make an order online to add lines, I'm supposed to receive an email where I accept terms and conditions, and without accepting these terms, my orders will cancel automatically.

....

I know he has ABSOLUTELY NO IDEA what hes talking about because I'm only ordering SIM CARDS for BYOD. These Terms and conditions emails probably come later if AT ALL. As extra measure, I pleaded with him to call the Credit team/Analyst team and speak with them directly AGAIN. HE essentially refused and said they can't help me so we'd be wasting time. 100% confidence.

The reason I know he's full of crap is because I received the same CANCELLATION Email for my initial ORDER a week ago for STARTING SERVICE, as well as attempting to add lines to EXISTING SERVICE. And if what he was saying is true, then NO ONE STARTING NEW service with AT&T would be able to do so online because they wouldn't have emails on file either.

But alas, I had no choice but to see if this works as it is an avenue I hadn't exhausted yet. So we added my email to the account, confirmed it via verification email. Then he sent me on my merry way.

About 15 minutes later, not comfortable with this reps decision, I called Loyalty department back and got a different rep. This rep much more helpful and willing to do what I ask. We went back and forth with the Credit Analyst team, and that's where I learned that previous orders cant be looked up, etc. So this amounted to a dead end.

With phone calls being done for the day, I decided to roll the dice.

Placed two separate orders on the AT&T site after logging in. 2 Lines, then 2 more lines.

Both orders went through. We are now 7 hours into it, and the orders still say "PENDING PORT APPROVAL" on my account order screen, and the infamous:

"We're working on your order." on the individual order page.

I guarantee you these orders will be cancelled in the morning.

Now, with all the headache and bull(Edited per community guidelines) that I've gone through, one might think that AT&T is in some sort of FCC violation for refusing service to me and not giving me an explanation to why because none of the reps know HOW TO TELL ME WHY.

I guarantee a copy of this post is going straight to the FCC as a formal complaint, the BBB, AT&T EXECUTIVE Department via god (Edited per community guidelines) SNAIL mail, and I will send a copy to AT&T Executives such as

Primary Contact

Rachael (Edited as per community guidelines)

Premium (Customer) Care – TV & Internet

(Edited as per community guidelines)

Randy Shackelford, Premium (Customer) Care – Mobility, *

Chief Executive

Thaddeus (Edited as per community guidelines)

CEO – AT&T Communications

(Edited as per community guidelines)

I am 100000000000% certain that some internal system is blocking me for WHATEVER reason and I've had various AT&T reps via reddit tell me that theres a flag on SSN for fraud. Perhaps if its not my SSN its the ADDRESS here.

I honestly don't expect help on this forums seeing as how I hardly see things get solved. But I will post here, and other forums, until this (Edited per community guidelines) gets resolved.

LAST BUT NOT LEAST:

PLEASE Dont tell me to go sign up for the rest of the lines in the store; I'm doing this for the $250 Reward Card per new line via online. And its only ONLINE. Even if there wasn't a promotion though, telling me to go to the store ISN'T a fix.

Hey congratulations you made it to the end of this post. Thanks for reading and sorry for boring you to death.

As of right now, I hate AT&T so much and with practices like this, it's amazing how AT&T is still more successful than Sprint, a far inferior company.
-----

I have the Email addresses edited out i dont want them spammed. If you need to you can google the contacts.

Just thought I'd share the most ridiculous experience with you guys.

Man it sucks you can't copy paste already done formatting.

**EDIT**
I forgot to mention one thing... The BEST part of the AT&T community forums is when you tell them stuff like this, they reply with: "You should go to the store then if online ordering isnt working" -_-a

It would be hilarious if the resolution they come up for you is "Go to an AT&T store". Big Grin

Activated my 4 lines today. Just like everyone my account is split into 2 plans. I went ahead and chat to get it merged into one plan. Damn AT&T.
Effective immediately or need to wait after first month bill?

Ordered today. Status say pending but CSR confirmed that credit check was completed. How long does it take for the 1) status to go to approved, 2) SIMs to ship and 3) delivery? Trying to see if ports can happen before my next Verizon billing period starts on May 23rd.

1. Order approved or cancelled: 1-2 days
2. Porting process starts same day order is approved. If no problems with porting, SIMs shipped later in the same day. If problems with porting, order is on hold until porting problems resolved by you (go online to Port Status site, correct any wrong/missing info).
3. SIMs are shipped overnight by UPS.
4. Actual porting/cancellation of service with your current carrier doesn't take place until you've received the SIMs and go online to activate the SIMs.

Why do I have to go in store to activate eSim? I did a similar deal online with Verizon and got it activated within 10 minutes
I am thinking of esim route to sign up BYOD deal, so I could activate my phone today. Is ESim actiation at store required for BYOD port-in?

It gets better!

Just got another call back from the Office of the President:

"What we can do is give you a $250 credit for each line. And you can do up to 10 lines"...

FML only good for service credit and if i leave Att the credit disappears. Thats like essentially 1 year of free Att... and thats it. No money in my pocket.

Of course this isnt a solution for me so he's going to look into something else.
