I activated on 5/12 and received the first bill (with 2 month charges) today i.e. 5/16.

I believe you should get your bill in 2days...
My date is May 12. And I got the bill today too. So they charge 2 months instead of one? So on July 16th I'll charge for Aug and Sep?

All telecom companies charges one month advance, however, ATT didn't generate the bill in May month for most of us, so when they generated the bill in June, they charged for last month (12th May till 11th June) and one month advance which is 12th till 11th July.... from next month onwards i.e. in July month they will only charge us for one month i.e. 12th Jul to 11th Aug...

Edited: Also verify your bill once, if you are on 3GB Plan with 4 lines, you should see [ $120 * 2 Months ] + Taxes. In my case, they charged $120 for first month, however for 2nd month they charged $140 (didn't give $20 AutoPay Discount), so reached ATT Rep by dialing 611 and got $20 Credit Adjustment.

I only have 1 line. They charged me $123 for 2 months, 12-May to 11-June and 12 June to 11- July.

Same here, activated on 5/11, first month bill $120.22 for one line. Is it normal? So I have to decide cancellation a month before, because att does not prorate.

It depends on what plan you subscribed to. When I applied for 4 lines, I was shown upfront my monthly bill for 4 lines on 3GB Shared Plan will be $140 - $20 (Autopay Discount) = $120 + Taxes, and I got only $20 extra (autopay discount was not applied to 12th Jun to 11th Jul bill), which I called ATT and got reversed.

Log into your AT&T account, scroll down to My Services, click on Manage My Wireless. It'll show you what your monthly bill should be, before taxes & fees.

What do you want to chat about? I used "$250" when I wanted to ask about the promo, and "Billing" or "agent" when I wanted to have two split plans combined into one.

Your taxes & fees are at a relative low percentage ($20.22 on a $100 base price, 20%) compared to most people's AT&T bills. Mine is $32.35 on a $120 base price, 27%. On some people's bills, it's over 30%.

Tell the chat bot that you don't want to talk to them..lol
Just say you need to chat with live assistant. Then the bot ask you to select one of the topics to chat about below. Click on the link to Billing Usage, Plans and Features, it will connect you to live agent.
I just chatted about my reward and was told to wait till my 45 days to see it.
