Same here, activated on 5/11, first month bill $120.22 for one line. Is it normal? So I have to decide cancellation a month before, because att does not prorate.
If u use iphone, do u get charged for the access for iphone for $20 x 2? Don't know what the heck that means....

I have Samsung. What I understood is, $20 is applicable for all mobile share plans, even if you have single line.

The way AT&T sets up the plan, there's a base price, then each line is assessed an access charge. In the attachment below, the base price for a Shared Data 3GB plan is $40 (after $20 autopay discount), and each line starting from line 1 is charged a $20 access charge. Sometimes the access charge is called an iPhone access charge, but I think its a misnomer.
That charge applies to all smartphones.

Wow damn. Apparently they didn't say that out loud enough...so $40 becomes $60 plus all other fees...I guess I'll be lucky to break even when I got the $250...

Yep. The other poster paid $120.22 for two months of one-line plan. That breaks down to $40 for the base plane + $20 access charge - $10 autopay discount = $50. Adds in taxes & fee which vary depending on location, but usually from 20% to 30%. AT&T charges a lot for taxes and fees, compared with 15%-17% for the Sprint and T-mo bills that I received recently.

If the line activated 30 days before, chat here for the rewards to enter into their system. https://rewardcenter.att.com/contactus.aspx
Thanks so much for this. Outcome below:

"Regina (Supervisor): We apologize for the reward not being in the system. We have manually begun processing your $250+250+250+250+250 reward's today. Please allow up to three weeks to receive your reward in the mail. Please maintain all active services while your reward is in process. In 3-5 business days, you may track your reward online and select text or email alerts at www.att.com/rewardcenter. Please log in with your account number and zip code."

I activated SIMs around May 5th. Go figure you can't depend on these promos to automatically apply. Had the same issue with Sprint and had to call to get them to process the invalid rebates. That's where they get you...

FWIW, I made a generic inquiry with urlhasbeenblocked mentioning I may need to change providers before the cashback payable date and their response was:

"Yes, cancelling service before the cash back is payable may cause cash back to be retracted"

Hmm... paying another ~$160 for a possible $600 cashback... the reality though is that the actual amount should have been much less. What was the cashback per line in late April? I honestly forget...

FWIW, the terms for the AT&T deal is to expect the email/link from them 45 days (not 30) after activation. From May 5th to now isn't 45 days yet. Can't fault them for not applying automatically.

I chatted with an AT&T Reward rep on 6/16 and got my four $250 GCs approved. Checked the web site today 6/18 and I could see and claim them.

If I receive the GCs before July 6 when my next billing period starts, I'll cancel my service. I used BF for this order; although it shows the cb amount is $600, they probably will only payout $200. The est. payable date is Aug 1st which is near the end of the 3rd billing period and I'm not sure how certain that date is. My monthly bill for these 4 lines is $152. I won't gamble $152 hoping to get $200.

When did you activate your lines? Mine were activated on 5/6, which is 43 days ago, close to the required 45 days.
