That means they've accepted your order. Give it some time. Check the porting web site this evening.
Thank you. Do I need to call e-comm at this time? Or should I just wait? Sorry for the questions. I am just worried at what stage my order could get cancelled.

What refund are you referring to? Say if you leave on 50th day, will they give refund to the unused 10 days? Thanks.
I ported 4 lines out of acct #1 on 6/27 and the paid-for service period ends on 7/8. The final bill was around $150 and I paid it early. The closed account now shows a credit balance of $38. Someone here was told by a rep that they'd mail a check. I'm waiting to see if they will do that or issue a refund to my credit card.

Usually once the order status has gone to "In Progress" it doesn't get cancelled.

Some of the lines on my sprint accounts were ported from GV, but most were from ATT. I'm going to try porting the former GV numbers to ATT but the phones attached to those numbers are not the phones I want to use. Can I port to ATT, activate an LG Tribute on ATT, and then move the sim to any phone I want? Or maybe dont even activate the tribute, just put the sim to an iphone X or LG G8?

thanks. and for at&t/t-mobile branded tracfone, while porting into new carrier the old carrier will be "Other/Tracfone" and not at&t/t-mobile, right?
Yes, that whould be Other/Tracfone, not AT&T/TMo.

Ports to and from Tracfone used to be smooth and almost instant. It seems to be the case even now for people who are new to TF, at least for port-ins without creating an account. TF appears to be trying to make it harder to use them as a number parking or "transit stop" place.

I merged the lines two days after activation to lower the total amount billed. That closed the merged account but I still had to pay the final bill on the merged account - just like if I terminated service. I called on the rebates 30-35 days later. ATT didn't seem to have any problem with me paying for two separate accounts. I did change the email address on one of the accounts. That may have caused problems during activation and that maybe how the system keeps the accounts separate. The two accounts reflected the different email address in the ATT app. So, if you are going to do two accounts, use different email addresses.
Thanks a lot. I only have two lines, but I placed two orders instead of one. So ATT treated as two separate accounts. Called several times after activation, but finally got it fixed. Just need to wait for 30 days to check with Rewards department. Hope it will be smooth.

Yes. You can swap the SIM to any unlocked GSM supported devices. I activated my SIM on Moto e6 and currently using on my iPhone XS.

Would getting 2 lines per person on the same address work to make sure you get 4 cards? I have 4 lines available soon to port.

OK, AT&T sims received today and two former Sprint numbers have been ported. Online account setup.

Now just to wait a few weeks and start the process to get the $250 x 2 offer.

Is there anything I should do right now?

BTW, the porting and activation process AT&T has was seamless. I was impressed.

1. Did you check Plan Details in your online account to make sure they didn't split the two lines into two plans?
2. After 2-3 days (can't do it now), set the Account Access Code PIN to something easier for you to remember than the long number set by AT&T.

This has been a "money positive" day for me:
1. Received the two $250 GCs for my AT&T acct #2. Went to Dillons, bought a $500 m.o. and deposited it to my checking account.
2. Received a $23 Debit card from T-mo for a credit balance in my cancelled T-mo account. Will direct-transfer it to my checking account.
3. My wife's car had a flat tire (big screw stuck in it). Took it to the tire shop, they repaired it and somehow though it had Lifetime Road Hazard Warranty, so no charge, instead of the $18 + tax they charged a few months ago to fix another flat on the same car. I didn't argue with them.

i ordered 2 lines. 50-day old account. went to "In Progress". order canceled after ~24 hours.
ordered again couple of days later. called e-comm, they verified. went to "In Progress". canceled again after ~24 hours.

both times "couldn't verify order came from you".

their "system" seems capricious.

I don't know if things have changed with AT&T. My very first order, placed on 5/1, got cancelled on 5/2 when its status was "We're working on your order". I placed the same order on 5/3, it went to the green "In Progress" and was approved. Same with another order placed on 5/22, went to green "In Progress" and was approved.
