It looks like the memory configuration is 4GB soldered and a 8GB in the second slot. The max memory supported is 20GB (4+16).

$580 for this machine seems not so hot. 8th gen processor & 256 GB SSD are not what I expect to see for this price.

Might be an ok system if you need to but a laptop today but not worth picking up because it's some great deal

If you look on Acer's website, they list a few new laptops that haven't been released yet... maybe because of the pandemic. Great specs and very inexpensive. Personally, I'd wait.

Crap. I hope I didn't make a mistake picking it up. Wife needed a computer for light office work and the occasional Facebook game. Sorry it's not a good deal. Should I cancel and look for something else? It seemed well regarded at Cnet.

I've been scanning prices for the past few months as I need a laptop. Market is shot due to coronavirus; there aren't many good deals and prices are up.

This is a reasonable deal, and sufficient for light office work and facebook games. I'm considering it - but may wait for Memorial Day to see if anything good comes up.

You likely won't find a "good deal" until the market recovers from the COVID hysteria, which by that time we'll be close to Black Friday.
