No problemo! Its still a good price. I have the led bar style makita light, but i've definately found times where i need a spotlight style one. xenon bulbs throw light reaaaaalllllyyyy far but suck down the juice. for under $20, i may grab one.

The Makita website claims that flashlight with the Xenon bulb throws 180 lumens so that $7 LED bulb is even brighter. (and uses alot less power and doesnt get nearly as hot).

I originally thought about grabbing one and the led bulb, but i'm not sure if the difference in beam pattern will make it spray light all over the place vs a nice beam.
Could use a decent flashlight but reviews say this is pretty dim compared to similarly priced newer LED flashlights
That $7 replacement LED bulb is 200 lumens. I have been using that other bulb that is 100 lumens for years. It never occured to me that it needed to be brighter. I just checked the Makita lights from $40 to $64 dollars, most were 160 lumens, one was 190 and one was 200.
This light is under @20. That replacement LED bulb is only $7 and is 200 lumens. So for under $30 you could get as bright or brighter than one for twice the price. Just sayin...( It does lool like the more expensive one are a little nicer but not brighter).

I have used this for years with the 100 lumen LED bulb. Quite happy with the beam. It has a solid beam and yet somehow throws enough out wide to see well. And since my dad recently ran over it with the car (I have no idea why he put it behind the car) I found out this had a solid metal reflector. Yes some of the newer LED light have a adjustable piece the lets you adjust the beam. Not worth the extra money to me though.
