10 bucks isnt for the router, its not even for the modem - its for the Fiber to ethernet converter box that you cannot buy. Thats why even if you have your own compatible modem/router they can still charge you the $10.

Never again. I won't sign up for AT&T even if its free and I do not need to provide my bank account or cc number.
Just so you know Comcast, time Warner, cox any service provider period in the US or anywhere else I assume is going to try and get more money from you and say its valid and you owe it, you agreed to it etc. I know Comcast is going to do it when I call and cancel because I took this deal with AT&T.

When you place your order your not paying for anything. You have to schedule the install. Which for me was at least 1.5 weeks out from ordering. First bill comes in the mail I under the assumption it will began from date of install/ service turn up so if your trying to time to 2 schedule the install just before your month end with spectrum.

yes and if your provide your cell phone number on check out they text you 2 reminders.
One a few days after booking and then again a few days before they come. Allows you to reschedule with link via text also. I stuck to my original appointment but it did ask to confirm via text and had link to change appt.
