I found a cheaper deal on my internet provider. I used to pay $100/mo for AT&T 1Gbps fiber connection. Just came across this deal to save 50% AND get free HBOMax. I called them, and they upgraded my account!

update: this is a $20 off normal $70 price, good for 12 months. No fees, no equipment fees, $70 exactly on my bill. called the 800 number ((800) 288-2020) but got transferred a few times. I'm in FL.

10 bucks isnt for the router, its not even for the modem - its for the Fiber to ethernet converter box that you cannot buy. Thats why even if you have your own compatible modem/router they can still charge you the $10.

Yes it was a lot smoother than expected. I activated my service on 8th October. Received 2 emails to claim my rewards on 13th October and the 3rd email for $50 gift card on 16th October. I didn't even need to register anywhere on rewards site.

I'm wondering the same thing, I'm going to try to chat with att rep for the next week or so to see if I could get a discount, threaten to cancel and switch back to spectrum.
