The Hunter 54" Exeter LED ceiling fan features either a Brushed Nickel or White finish with a Cased White glass which has a modern look sure to impress. The strong motor and 54" blade span produce a large amount of airflow which is sure to keep you cool in the summer and circulate the warm heat down in the winter. Running a ceiling fan in the proper direction all year round can help save energy and make you feel more comfortable. In the summertime, running your ceiling fan counter-clockwise will provide a cooling breeze while circulating the air. During the winter, a clockwise rotation will move the cooler air off the floor and push the warm air down the walls without the strong draft. The fan uses 2 x LED bulbs for energy efficient lighting

Looks nice but not enough airflow. I agree
I'm definitely no fan expert but I think this is at the medium setting. Bought a hunter fan last week and it had a similar CFM spec on the website. When I brought it home, the box had 3 CFM specs with the highest being about 5,900 CFM.

Also, cfm is 3870 on high. That's too low. Pass. More info here:

That's my only complaint. The glass is so thick, it makes the bulbs darker. Had to put in brighter. Not a problem with noise or CFM. I'd trust the ratings on Costco vs the 4 on lowes if someone is debating.
Given so much fluctuation in the quality and Costco now blacklisting people for "too much" returns, its better to err on the side of assuming these not worth the trouble.
never ran across a " loud " hunter fan
In the old methodology, CFMs were measured by placing the fan in a closed tube and measuring the air within that giant tube. Problem is, a room isn't a fan sized wind tunnel, it's larger, it allows air to escape so the average person sitting below a fan isn't in a wind tunnel aimed at them, so the new methodology essentially involves measuring CFM in a large room, allowing air to escape. Hence the lower CFMs now. The article cited above, with the 5000 CFM numbers is from 2014 using the old wind tunnel methodology.
Also, Costco bans are rare and easily justifiable.
