I have both, the speeds and remotes are almost identical. The only difference is the UI. Roku is pretty simple, so I have these in my kids rooms. I have a Fire Stick 4k in my home office and take it with me when I travel for work. The UI is kind of a mess, but it works fine. The main con for both devices is the remotes both control the TVs just fine (power, vol), but there is no input button, so you still need to keep your original remote if you need to change input like for a gaming console.
On most modern TVs, if you enable CEC, you don't need the input button. Pressing Home button (or maybe any button) on the remote will change the input to the appropriate one.

With CEC enabled, my TV remote can control the Fire Stick 4K but not my Roku Streaming Stick (2018). Anyone know if this newer Streaming Stick+ can be controlled by the TV's remote?
This doesn't apply to the model in this deal.

Hulu will no longer be supported on some older Roku devices as of June 24th, according to a Hulu support page. The affected models were released in 2012 or earlier, and include Roku players with a model number between 2400 to 3100 and Roku Streaming Sticks with a model number of 3420 or earlier.

Can anyone confirm if this comes with a $5 Vudu credit if purchasing through Wal-Mart? The picture shows a sticker on the box indicating it does, but there was no mention of it in the Wal-Mart description.

These work great as alternative to renting extra cable boxes from xfinity. Save money in the long run.

I was going to do that until I tried it out with an older Roku, the experience was not the best so I just use it on a rarely used TV in the garage. It works fine if you don't want any frills like pausing live TV, rewind, etc. The UI was a little slow for me, not sure if it's because my Roku is from 2016, but I wouldn't want to deal with that on a daily basis.
