I ended up returning mine...main problems were fan noise and poor battery life..would only get 3-4 hours if the brightness is set to medium or high. great build and screen quality though. Also no Windows Hello!!

Depends on your uses. I like 4K for some editing and work on a 14" (or smaller). The pixel density is greater on a phone than a 4k 14" and I also prefer that too.

Battery life is affected but some costs may be worth it for some people.

In for one, open box store pickup for $863.

Been waiting for a 16GB RAM FHD Iron Grey version to go on sale for about two months now. Haven't seen anything close to this deal elsewhere in that time. Lenovo website right now with a Summer Sale coupon was about $1,100 for that build with i5 FWIW.

Hard to justify that price difference for color and better battery life vs UHD and i7.

I would choose the $863 with 4K display plus i7. Downgrading to 1080p+i5+$240 more is definitely not a good option unless you really want the extra 4-hour battery life.

Totally agree - I had to bite on the Mica colored one since the specs were so much better than a comparably equipped iron grey one.

Aside from that, Iron grey would have been been my preference!

I prefer the iron grey too! Best Buy does not have this color for the 16 GB RAM version. You may wait for deals from Lenovo. However, in that case, you will not be able to enjoy the open box discount from Best Buy...

Almost went for this one myself. As it pretty much ticks all the boxes spec wise for what I was looking for, but...

I have had pretty bad luck with my couple yr old XPS 13. And, get this one comes with a warranty, yet I was a little concerned with the fact that it's a recent model machine and this company already has, "... large quantities available!". So, for me, maybe if a little less cash, but for nine bills...I held off.
