How dare they try to make a one-time $30 in exchange for giving you a FREE line, Mr. Entitled.

This weekend, T-Mobile is giving away a FREE VOICE LINE! Any T-Mobile plan is eligible (even Simple Choice). New customers need to have two paid lines to get the free line. Current customers with at least two paid lines can just add a free line.

***This is an EXTREMELY RARE No-Stipulation Line (like the free lines offered back in 2016 & 2017...)

If you're new to T-Mobile and you'd like to stack this to get the 4 lines for $120 on the Magenta plan, which comes with a free Netflix account, you'll need to go to T-Mobile today/tonight (Thursday, June 25th) to start/port a 3-line account on the Magenta plan. T-Mobile is currently running a 3rd line free. All 3 lines will be $120, which includes tax.

THEN....

Starting tomorrow, Friday, June 26th, you can add a 4th line to your plan for FREE! This will give you 4 lines on the T-Mobile Magenta plan, which comes with all taxes/fees, unlimited data and a free Netflix account, for $120. IF YOU ARE GOING TO DO THIS... GO TO T-MOBILE NOW TO START THE 3-LINE DEAL FIRST.... DO NOT SIGN UP FOR FOUR LINES THINKING THE 4TH LINE WILL AUTOMATICALLY BE FREE TOMORROW... IT WON'T. 3 lines TODAY, 1 line TOMORROW!

As always, start-up fees may or may not be charged, and can come to $10 per SIM and $20 per activation per line. Ask to see if any of these may be waived.

Details about the 4th line free will be on the website tomorrow (Friday, June 26th), but don't wait to start the first 3 lines today/tonight!

Can anyone confirm:

Essential Plan to get the 2 paid lines, get 1 free line
+ get iPhone 11 for free with trade in and porting number?
I just added a free line in store. They did say you need to trade in plus port in a number from att or Verizon. There used to be $10 SIM pay as you go card from att but not sure if they are still available

I have Simple Choice 10 GB NAFUTT4. I was able to add a line for free (only pay monthly taxes). If I cancel any line after 1 year, then that invalidates the promo. I was not charged any fees.

I combo'ed this deal with the 50% iPhone SE. Only paid taxes on the phone.
Do you see anything on your account yet? I have the same NAFUTT4 plan and ordered the free line but with the iPhone 11 yesterday. Ordered around 1pm central time on Friday.

Nothing yet. However I received the agreement and receipt for the plan and iPhone to my email. I thankfully had an extremely knowledgable rep so I'm not worried. I do plan to port a number on this line. He warned me it's easier to port (within 14 days) after I get this new phone.

do you know why it did that? is there a limit of lines on the One plan?
Lines 9-12 are priced differently (they don't qualify for the auto pay discount, I think it's $30 vs $20 after autopay), and therefore many of the promotions aren't compatible with them apparently.

Same thing for me...most of yesterday I kept getting reps telling me the 10SCFM4 plan is not eligible. I contacted 611 via chat on app and they checked my account and stated my new line I added is eligible. I had her notate it in my account again. Will contact them again tomorrow to verify again. Maybe the promotion team updated or provided clarification today compared to yesterday's info. I do have this rep ID as well so that's 3 reps that stated I am eligible and 3 that stated I was not. I had the rep notate in my account again that I was eligible.
So at this point you just see the number on your account just don't see the promo wording applied to your account yet?

another reply from t Force lmao

I apologize about all the confusion, the promotion was launched very quickly and I apologize that information has not been clear. I checked into this for you to make sure I was 100% certain on whether your line you added would qualify. It looks like in this case though, your plan does not qualify for the free line. This is why you are not seeing it added. ^ErnestoBatres

So first let me say what a complete and utter shit show this has been. From not providing any public details about this promotion to not even training their staff, T-Mobile really dropped the ball here.

Yesterday morning, after confirming from THREE different employees (inc T-Force) that my plan was eligible and having it marked in the notes, etc., I find out this morning (after reading differing comments here and Reddit) that my plan (6SCFMPRM) is in fact NOT eligible. Why? Who knows. Maybe because some random person forgot to include it, since it's basically the same as the SC 6GB 2-Line for $80 plan that is, but is discounted to $70/month instead.

So after getting this reverse confirmation this morning, I was obviously far from happy. With that said, in the end it may have worked out a bit. We didn't need the extra line, but were just getting it as a spare and why not, it's free? I did really want the iPhone SE @ 50% off for my daughter though. So to help compensate for the issue and them dropping the ball, they removed the 'free' line, and gave me a $214 credit to offset the loss of the 50% discount -- actually giving me $14 more by covering half of sales tax I would have had to normally pay for. They also gave us a $100 courtesy credit to apologize for the confusion. As a result, we basically got a brand new iPhone SE for $114 out the door including tax, so that's pretty good. Still upset about not getting the free line, but whatever.

So for anyone else on the 6SCFMPRM SOC, my earlier comments last night were apparently wrong and this plan is NOT eligible.

The biggest issue here is that the 'promo' isn't applied during the sales process, only automatically (in theory) later. So the CSR can't actually confirm it on their end. This is why some have said to just order it online yourself, as the credit, if you qualify, is automatic. For the people getting "approved" or "not approved", the CSR is just making that decision based on what they think -- they don't do anything different than just adding a line like normal and maybe putting something in the notes. They should have made it so the promo is applied (or rejected) in real time. But this is T-Mobile...
Sorry to hear about this, Dood, I am in the exact same boat, same plan, same iphone SE deal.

I think I will just be returning the phone back to the store at this point.

So I added the free like yesterday and did the iPhone se half off... I got a text message saying I was enrolled in a promo and on my T-Mobile account it already shows I'm getting the iPhone half off... but it shows the line is full price, I see nothing about the line being free? Has anyone seen anything actually pertaining to the free line promo yet?
My new line shows today. If I got into my account, there's a Promo for Free Line on Us 2020 and the line shows as $0.00. I got a text message this morning that said a promo was added to my account too.

Cool, exactly the same here. Just nothing shown yet on the account page.

I also texted with them over Twitter to confirm the steps and the rep said yes (even to the estimated bill total):

1.) Receive iPhone 11
2.) Activate and port-in number from Google Voice
3.) Erase and mail in old iPhone 8+
4.) Receive $152 trade-in lump credit
5.) Receive monthly credits of $20/mo for the free line promo in addition to $22.83/mo for the trade-in promo.
6.) After credits are all applied, my new monthly bill will be ~$182-$183/mo.
7.) Plan remains Simple Choice North America (as it was before). NAFUTT4

My family and I will then have:
7 voice lines (2 free)
2 tablet lines (both free)
1 DIGITS duplicate beta SIM (free)

Fingers crossed!!!

After looking over https://www.t-mobile.com/offers/a...hone-deals [t-mobile.com] and reading the faqs it looks like the only Apple phone deal Simple Choice folks can do is the 50% off SE. The 11/XS/11 Pro deals don't list Simple Choice under eligible plans.
I have the ONE plan and I had at least two reps verify for me that I was eligible for the promotion for XS. So take it for what you will I guess.

Bingo i think you are right - do you know if the data lines qualify under this.

Right now i have 7 voice lines and 2 data lines.

I am not sure if adding another line with the iphone se promo will mess up the existing structure.

Yup sounds similar! Lucky you got so many free lines!

For the tablet lines, how many MB/GB did you get for free? I must've missed that promo.
