How dare they try to make a one-time $30 in exchange for giving you a FREE line, Mr. Entitled.

This weekend, T-Mobile is giving away a FREE VOICE LINE! Any T-Mobile plan is eligible (even Simple Choice). New customers need to have two paid lines to get the free line. Current customers with at least two paid lines can just add a free line.

***This is an EXTREMELY RARE No-Stipulation Line (like the free lines offered back in 2016 & 2017...)

If you're new to T-Mobile and you'd like to stack this to get the 4 lines for $120 on the Magenta plan, which comes with a free Netflix account, you'll need to go to T-Mobile today/tonight (Thursday, June 25th) to start/port a 3-line account on the Magenta plan. T-Mobile is currently running a 3rd line free. All 3 lines will be $120, which includes tax.

THEN....

Starting tomorrow, Friday, June 26th, you can add a 4th line to your plan for FREE! This will give you 4 lines on the T-Mobile Magenta plan, which comes with all taxes/fees, unlimited data and a free Netflix account, for $120. IF YOU ARE GOING TO DO THIS... GO TO T-MOBILE NOW TO START THE 3-LINE DEAL FIRST.... DO NOT SIGN UP FOR FOUR LINES THINKING THE 4TH LINE WILL AUTOMATICALLY BE FREE TOMORROW... IT WON'T. 3 lines TODAY, 1 line TOMORROW!

As always, start-up fees may or may not be charged, and can come to $10 per SIM and $20 per activation per line. Ask to see if any of these may be waived.

Details about the 4th line free will be on the website tomorrow (Friday, June 26th), but don't wait to start the first 3 lines today/tonight!

So after multiple back and forth calls. I spoke with a supervisor today and they actually have a sheet with which plans qualify, and which do not. You need to find out your plan code (check OP's wiki on how to do that) and if you are not seeing the promo call in and ask them to check if your plan shows on their list of eligible plans for the free line. I was misinformed saying my plan is eligible when it was not and that's why I haven't seen it show on mytmobile after 24 hours. My plan code is 10SCFM4 just in case anyone else has that same plan you will not qualify.

If you want to get the line removed ask them to cancel out the line under buyer's remorse / non use and it WILL not effect your plan or any other free lines / promotions you have. I know how annoying this has been, but at least we tried!

Yes, the $20 is avoidable if you message them in app and do it. Some people who called in also report they negotiated it away on the phone call.

I have not seen a report of being able to use an existing sim. Rather anyone who has tried and posted about it has failed.
You can use an existing sim card if you go into a store. But then you have to pay the $20 assistance fee, which I did. I could have been slicker if I had tried to do it online, but it's done.

If anyone's asking, I was told the new line won't show up in your account until the sim card ships out.
Thanks. I don't see the new line and my sim card hasn't shipped yet but I see the order for a new line number as a new device under Account History when logged into the T-Mobile website.

Seems a bit to easy, there's got to be a catch.

I am on the TMO ONE All In promo, 2 paid lines and a free line, with the 'hookup' discount...I'm pretty sure I'm not eligible because it might be considered discounted with the hookup.
I have the exact same plan and they told me I can NOT add any lines to my account without changing my plan, too.. Anyone is successful ?

is it 8 line voice limit or both voice lines and like tablet/wearable lines?
That's exactly what I am also trying to find out but all the reps I talked to cant confirm. I'm looking into getting a wearable line but don't want to go thru all the trouble again.

Under my account history, I see an "Order Placed" for a "Device" but it's under one of my old lines for some reason.

Oh, you're right. It's not a new line number. It's one of my existing phone numbers that my friend uses. So, that means it's for the new sim card "device", not a new line. I guess we'll have to wait until the sim card gets shipped to see the new line.

Not sure if this was mentioned before as there are 140 pages, but I was able to stack the free line with the Samsung BOGO in addition to the trade in deal.

In the end, I will have ended up getting two Samsung Galaxy S20+ 5Gs for $550 each with the statement credits over 24 months and trading in my old Galaxy S7 I had laying around for $300.

Anyone else able to do this as well? I'm wondering whether I should drive around all of my tmobile stores to try and get this kind of deal or not.

Thanks for the update again. I won't be getting mine then. I'm not too disappointed because my awesome plan with corporate discount is still in tact.

Reading through this thread and the ones on Reddit, a lot of people are getting screwed by CSRs changing their plan in order to get the free line. Quite a few got their promos taken away (including previous free lines) and now they have the tough task of trying to get everything back and not caring about that free line. This is one way T-Mobile gets people off legacy or grandfathered plans or just take away previous promotions. If you're a modern plan sure go for it; if you're on a grandfathered ask yourself if it's worth it if they screw up your plan. I feel sorry for the loyal subscribers.

Anyone who wants to do this and has a legacy or gratherfathered plan you better make sure nothing changes on your plan. Don't be greedy and go for phone promotion also if you're not sure because those promotions are monthly credits and it depends on you keeping this line. If it's not free that phone is not really a deal

Here's one example of T-Mobile screw-up after the person asked multiple times her plan will stay the same

You can try searching on ebay for "ATT numbers to port" there's a ton of listings. look for seller 360cellular

I was in a pinch a few months ago and needed 3 #'s asap at 10pm, and went with this guy for $5 a piece as I knew i'd get them pronto from him. He's sold 24k of them, so. . .
