How dare they try to make a one-time $30 in exchange for giving you a FREE line, Mr. Entitled.

This weekend, T-Mobile is giving away a FREE VOICE LINE! Any T-Mobile plan is eligible (even Simple Choice). New customers need to have two paid lines to get the free line. Current customers with at least two paid lines can just add a free line.

***This is an EXTREMELY RARE No-Stipulation Line (like the free lines offered back in 2016 & 2017...)

If you're new to T-Mobile and you'd like to stack this to get the 4 lines for $120 on the Magenta plan, which comes with a free Netflix account, you'll need to go to T-Mobile today/tonight (Thursday, June 25th) to start/port a 3-line account on the Magenta plan. T-Mobile is currently running a 3rd line free. All 3 lines will be $120, which includes tax.

THEN....

Starting tomorrow, Friday, June 26th, you can add a 4th line to your plan for FREE! This will give you 4 lines on the T-Mobile Magenta plan, which comes with all taxes/fees, unlimited data and a free Netflix account, for $120. IF YOU ARE GOING TO DO THIS... GO TO T-MOBILE NOW TO START THE 3-LINE DEAL FIRST.... DO NOT SIGN UP FOR FOUR LINES THINKING THE 4TH LINE WILL AUTOMATICALLY BE FREE TOMORROW... IT WON'T. 3 lines TODAY, 1 line TOMORROW!

As always, start-up fees may or may not be charged, and can come to $10 per SIM and $20 per activation per line. Ask to see if any of these may be waived.

Details about the 4th line free will be on the website tomorrow (Friday, June 26th), but don't wait to start the first 3 lines today/tonight!

Still confused if Simple Choice plans are eligible for the iPhone 11 trade in credit offer...hearing a lot of mixed experiences...anyone got a firm confirmation? (port in or not is the other different issue) Thanks!
They usually a FAQ page giving more details about what plans qualify but this promo doesn't. All it says is join T-mobile on an eligible plan but doesn't list the eligible plans. It seems like it requires joining T-mobile. This is borderline fraud as it doesn't give us the exact terms in writing and can make things up when we contact them.

"How to get this offer:
1. Join T-Mobile on an eligible plan and bring your number from an eligible carrier.
2. Purchase a new iPhone 11 64GB on a monthly payment plan.
3. Complete your purchase and make a down payment (if applicable).
4. Trade in an eligible device in good condition:"

You can try searching on ebay for "ATT numbers to port" there's a ton of listings. look for seller 360cellular

I was in a pinch a few months ago and needed 3 #'s asap at 10pm, and went with this guy for $5 a piece as I knew i'd get them pronto from him. He's sold 24k of them, so. . .
Found it. Thank you, learn something new everyday.
So how do you exactly port this AT&T number? Should we buy this from ebay first or we can buy this later after we get the free line from Tmobile?

I'm grandfathered in to the unlimited everything on 2 lines for $100 business lines. Walked into the store, paid the $30 +tax for the new SIM and now I have a $50/month line for free. I plan on going in and getting the the BOGO LG V60 dual screens for $400ish

It took 10 min. to add Free Voice Line into Simple Choice Family Plan (4 existing lines) as 5th line.
It was very easy and straightforward and NO Activation Charge ($20) or Sim Card ($10).
New Sim card was given with New Phone Number for Free.
Quick and Easy.

Thanks all,

do you have a link to the terms? I can't seem to find it on their main page under the promo details
I don't see the promo on their site but it is still active. I asked the rep for carriers excluded from port-in and i was told this:

"Not available to port-ins from T-Mobile Prepaid, Metro by T-Mobile, free Google Voice services, MVNOs using T-Mobile's network, or numbers used with T-Mobile service in the last 90 days (known as Winback port ins)."

Thanks. I don't see the new line and my sim card hasn't shipped yet but I see the order for a new line number as a new device under Account History when logged into the T-Mobile website.
Yes, same here. I called 611 and spoke two(2) CSRs yesterday and one more this morning to make sure and all three(3) of them, they all said the same thing. The original CSR who added the free line on my Simple Choice plan used ground shipping and so, I won't see my free line until week.

I tried to add the iPhone SE 2 for 1/2 price on this new free line, and the CSR through 611 couldn't since the new line isn't on my account yet.

Let's see.

After looking over https://www.t-mobile.com/offers/a...hone-deals [t-mobile.com] and reading the faqs it looks like the only Apple phone deal Simple Choice folks can do is the 50% off SE. The 11/XS/11 Pro deals don't list Simple Choice under eligible plans.
Same for T-Mobile One. The XS 50% of promo says on Magenta plans.

Thanks for the update again. I won't be getting mine then. I'm not too disappointed because my awesome plan with corporate discount is still in tact.

Reading through this thread and the ones on Reddit, a lot of people are getting screwed by CSRs changing their plan in order to get the free line. Quite a few got their promos taken away (including previous free lines) and now they have the tough task of trying to get everything back and not caring about that free line. This is one way T-Mobile gets people off legacy or grandfathered plans or just take away previous promotions. If you're a modern plan sure go for it; if you're on a grandfathered ask yourself if it's worth it if they screw up your plan. I feel sorry for the loyal subscribers.

Anyone who wants to do this and has a legacy or gratherfathered plan you better make sure nothing changes on your plan. Don't be greedy and go for phone promotion also if you're not sure because those promotions are monthly credits and it depends on you keeping this line. If it's not free that phone is not really a deal

Seems like the safest way for people with grandfathered plan and/or old promo stuff to not getting screwed up is by adding the line yourself online(?)
If your plan qualify, then you should see it as free in your account page couple days later(?) And if it is not free, then you can just cancel it as buyer's remorse?

Does anyone know if Tmo ONE 55+ is eligible?
From the first post and Wiki of this thread:

Current customers:
If you have at least 2 paid voice lines, you are eligible to get a free voice line on a qualifying plan, including Simple Choice, ONE and Magenta. Exclusions will apply, including discounted plans (military, first responder and 55+) not being eligible. Not all Simple Choice plans qualify. Taxes and fees may apply depending on your existing plan. This may include a SIM or activation fee that may be waived later via chat.

I'm on the T-mobile One plan ( not the 2 All In One Promo one) - so wanted to confirm how many lines I can have and it is 8 voice lines.

I asked what would happen if I add more lines later, they confirmed plan would be changed. I am pasting what they shared

"If you were to add more voice lines, and get to the 9th line, we'd have to change your plan to one that is currently available. As of today, that would be the Magenta plan.

You can add more watch lines, tablet lines, SyncUp or anything that is classified as mobile internet - these are not voice lines, so won't ever impact your T-Mobile ONE plan, and your account is eligible for up to 5 mobile internet lines. "

I guess you can cancel but it's only 14 days. My bill cycle just restarted on the 25th. So I will have to wait almost 30 days to find out on the next bill unless I can see it on the account that it's really free

I figure doing it online yourself is the way to go too because you see everthing when you check out and there's no CSR attempting to do extra stuff to try to get you the line for free, assuming the online ordering will get you the line for free also (if you're qualified)

For those whose plans have a limit of voice lines I'll be extra careful if you have hit your line limit already cuz it will change their plan for the extra free line

So I have the T-Mobile One All in Promo plan, went to a corporate store and asked them if I would qualify for the promo, they said yes. I added a line that was ported over from Verizon, they charged me $20 because I had a new unused SIM card with me. The line is added to my account and the number is ported.

What I'd like to know is, the people who say the One All in Promo plan isn't eligible, is T-Mobile telling you it's not possible to add the line or is it possible to add the line but it won't qualify as free under this promo. Maybe this has already been answered in the 155+ pages of comments but I haven't been able to go through them all. There's a Redditor under the name of neuromix that reported the same thing 2 hours ago, T-force did it for him though. His SOC was FRLTUL4LP the 4/120 All in plan, my SOC is FRLTUL2LP the 2/100 All in plan.
