"In a December 2019 article about "Cheap TVs That Aren't Worth the Money," Consumer Reports listed the Westinghouse WR65UX4019 TV as near the "race to the bottom of our ratings for big sets," behind only a 60-inch RCA TV. The Westinghouse TV has a listed MSRP of $579.99. So if you're buying something that's going to be your primary living room TV, it's important to do due diligence."

had a 50" westinghouse ...broke down in 3 month... they wanted me to pay out of pocket to ship it back which is 1/3 of the cost of the TV... which I did and never heard back from them... They don't answer phone only email...after i ship back the TV they stopped responding to my email as well. Ended up filing CC dispute to get my money back.
Westinghouse is a horrible brand

Its a good deal!

But, dont take it personally when people like to justify and make you agree to their preference. Smilie

At this price point it doesn't matter, this is a good deal for a 65". Having 4K, HDR and has ROKU is all extra gravy!

Seems like a great deal for 65". What should I know about warranties, return policy, anything similar to dead pixels/screen cracks etc? Would it be worth buying at least the 2 year (or even 5 year) Geeksquad warranty?

I'm looking at the reviews of the Geeksquad warranty now, and it would seem it *generally* covers product breakage, but not if they think it was accidental. Wondering what coverage there is in general if you open it at home and it's broken. Would they believe you, or would you be out of luck?

Edit: Found these things in reviews of Geeksquad warranty...

Edit2:
Found this in a short review on the TV. https://i.imgur.com/NyOUot8.png

Definitely a good price for the size and specs. My concern is reliability, Westinghouse has been consistently bad over time.

If it's broken out of the box just return it. That's a common thing, no extra warranty needed.

Good price but I have to see through the $399 price that looks so tempting, for $30 the tcl 4 series has been on sale and for a little more than that the tcl 6 series at Costco which doesn't even compare to this tv. For me it was the over $400 price after tax that made me realize "do I wanna fork out over $400 for this".
Not hating on it at all just being a realist, Does this even have a 120hz upscale, usb?

What if you just want to use it for basic 60hz - and for mirroring from a laptop to get a bigger screen for studying video material stuff? For me, it would seem to be more than good enough, but I don't know a lot about TVs
