2.0 GHz 10th Generation i5 Quad-Core / 16GB RAM / 512GB SSD doesn't show up for 1599. =/ would have bought at that configuration. Good deal for a Macbook if using a Payboo card.

This is $100 cheaper than the edu. If you want the ear buds then perhaps they are comparable. Ive read the discount on the applecare should be considered.

For me im waiting on my states tax free weekend in a month + edu (if best deal at time) for mbp16 but same logic could work i think for a 13. Also the apple store gives more options for upgrades without having to buy within a package.

Not a bad deal for a great laptop, particularly the $1,799 version with 16GB and 1TB...but these are the prices we've been seeing for awhile now, nothing uniquely special.

Or by Windows 10 machine for 1/4 the price with the same specs
Im an 100% Windows user, but if I do photoediting/video editing I would go for a mac due to software and hardware 50 shades of gray. Also for basic people who wants to use facebook and have imessage/facetime in their laptop and have an iphone. Usually for those who arent too tech savys who dont need or want the awesome features of an android and needs something that works and simple. Then iphone+Mac is the way to go.

For me its android+my gaming rig, but again, i dont use imessage/facetime/video rendering.

I used to have windows PC for 15 years, and they always had problem, specially the dread "Blue screen" every year, I have to replace them every 2 years. I switched to Mac, having first iMac 27" since 2014 and it keeps running. I have Apple laptops too, but they have hardware issues here and there, never a software issue. Go for Apple, expensive but last 5 times or more longer than Windows.

What is your problem, I've seen you in every MacBook thread trashing the product. If you don't like it then ignore it, no need for your toxicity here.

Agree, I think this is "regular" price now, however some people may be able to save tax with B&H.

Go on, then. Find us a business-class all-metal chassis laptop with 16:10 retina screen w/ P3 wide-color gamut, 1TB SSD, 16GB RAM, 0.61" thick, 3.1 lbs for $450.
