For those on the fence on about the price, consider it an investment since the chair is made to last. The chairs have been through 5+ years of use and haven't heard any issues with any of our chairs.
Alternatively you don't need to spend this much, but try to set a budget of minimal $400. You'll have much better options and your back will thank you.
Much better than the aeron or pretty much any other chair I've tried for all day seating comfort. And yes, the armrests are a must for proper ergonomics

1) It is noisy. When you move around in your seat, there are a lot of creaks from the plastic components rubbing
2) Both of my arm rests stopped staying in the vertical position. So now they are both slanted out about 15 degrees from center.
Other than that, you can tell it's a high quality chair.
