3Gb per second but still on a 1Gb per second link. Marketing at it's best
The M9 is a tri-band router. The X60 is a dual band.

If you are using a wifi backhaul, get the M90.

If you are using a wired Ethernet backhaul, get the X60.
The X60 has a maximum backhaul of 3000Mbps vs the M9's 1500Mbps. Dual band on the X60 is a 2.4Ghz band and 5Ghz, the M9's have one 2.4Ghz and two 5Ghz bands.

Anyone know why Amazon has the 2 pack available for pre-order? I can't find any difference with the Costco 3 pack.

About once an hour my internet will say it's not available when connected to the x60's....then about 1 or 2 mins later will will reconnect. Thoughts....?

I'm connected through mesh right now. My house is cat6 wired, but these x60's wont work with the switch that the house came with

Deco x60 3 pack was exclusibve to Costco so far, and now they are also bringing it to Amazon I guess, that's why it's pre-order. Obviously Costco one is a better deal.

Can you replace existing switch with new one? preferably Tp-Link brand. You will not be disconnected if you wire Deco units, and you will get lot better performace and coverage.

Also, you need to make sure that all the Deco's are in a reasonable signal 🚥 range from the MAIN Deco.. You can do that by plug & play in different area of your house and check the signal 📶 in the app. You can click on individual Deco in the App to see the signal and type of band it's connected.

Well that doesn't matter if he can replace the switch and wire all deco units.

Does this have a built-in VPN Server? I got the Deco M9 Plus yesterday, and see that that one does not have a VPN Server built-in.

I need some help from the experts. I have AT&T fiber at 1,000 Mbps. The service comes with a BGW210 gateway/modem which is mandatory. The range is terrible so I just got the Deco X60 AX3000. The Deco has great range and is easy to set up but the speed is about 1/2 of what I get directly connected wirelessly to the AT&T router.

I have the AT&T gateway connected to the fiber and a cat 6 cable running from AT&T gateway to the main Deco. I then have two Decos in other parts of the house connected wirelessly.

I get the slow speed with the Deco no matter if I am right next to the main Deco or on a satellite Deco. As long as I am with about 100 feet of the AT&T I get the faster speed.

AT&T: 470/370
Deco: 230/260

Tested on a Galaxy S9

Can anyone give a guess as to why the speed drops with the Decos as compared to the AT&T gateway/router?
Did you change any settings on the BGW210? I think there is a passthrough setting, not a true bridge but may need to be set. It may be in the firewall section.
I have the same setup so will be trying this when the X60 arrives.

The only change I make in my AT&T gateway is to disable wi-fi. In the external router hooked into the gateway, either use Access Point mode or disable firewall and DHCP. I am aware of bridge mode and all that, but this works fine for me.

How you connecting the x60s? And do you use a router or is the x60 acting as the router?

I returned my m9 plus and re-ordered X60. I just finished the installation today. The speed increase is obvious. Downloading files from NAS via WIFI5 has increased by 30%. M9 is about 40~50MB/S, and X60 can reach 60~70MB/s.

Using wireless backhaul, the speed of WIFI can reach more than 200Mbps/s, my spectrum is 200/10Mbps.
This WIFI6 router has a good price/performance ratio. I'll keep it.
