The $40 Costco Gift Card will be Mailed to you within 4-6 weeks.
You can enroll in auto-renewal at the same time you complete your online redemption if your state requires you pay sales tax. Tax will be listed under Order Summary on the membership checkout page.
If Tax is listed as $0.00 in your Order Summary, you will need to enroll in auto-renewal after redeeming your membership. You may do so under the Membership Details section on your Costco confirmation page or from your Costco Account Details page.

edit: Groupon has confirmed in this thread that both the $40 off $250 online code and the $40 Shop Card expire at the end of January.
Also, the Groupon offer itself is available until August 31st.
Remember to sign up at BEGINNING of the month as membership always expires at end of month, 13 for 12.

1. I purchased $60 groupon deal
2. I received $60 costco card with card number and pin
3. I opened costco.com and clicked on membership
4. Now I enter all my information and clicked on continue
5. This is where my confusion is. In payment method should I use the $60 costco card or should I use my visa card for auto renewal to be eligible for the goodies?
I don't have a Visa card and that would disqualify me from the incentives so I just refunded the Groupon.
Is there a way to get the card without paying a visit to the store? Interested in only gas purchases.

My wife's membership was expired on July 2020 and I was an additional member under her membership. Can I join as new member and add her as an additional card holder now?
