This thing barely moves any air, look at the specs. Waste of money if you want air movement, great if you want something to look at.

Here is a 54 inch that moves more air:

We've been looking for a big, nice looking fan for our open loving room. I needed a brushed nickel fan to match our 6ft downrod. Our current fan is dated, squeaks, and is too high to change fan speeds. This one should be a good replacement with the remote. I would think our long downrod would help it move plenty of air. We'll see 🤷🏻

It looks better on paper, do you have first hand experience?

I do. I own three of the 54 inch model and one of the 64 inch and they move a ton of air. Had them all for a couple of years so far with no problems.

Didn't they redo the calculations before and it's now the average? High speed will be much more I believe. Only way to tell is to look at the manuals.

Further from ceiling, better flow you'll get.

Even if it was the average, wouldn't a higher average indicate more airflow?

Original post specs average airflow of 4851 cfm

Fan spec for one I provided indicates average airflow of 6089 cfm and it's 16 inches smaller.

Am I misunderstanding your post somehow?
