It says add a device to your free line.

It says that for everyone tho, does it say $0/month in the plan overview page when you click on it?

Hey so the chat reps are saying my other reserved lines are showing free on their system but they said it should only be one line per account.so am guessing will have to see the bill when it generates in a bit.so far still only one line shows the $0 others show advantage unlimited $30 but each has a unique offer code associated with it fingers crossed it works if it doesn't I'm be put like $150 bucks lol.

Aight let us know when your billing cycle ends. But if it doesn't show $0 for the others I wouldn't expect them to be free

Any good deal from BestBuy? I saw QC mentioned you can create Sprint account through BB and Walmart in another thread.

There was the iPhone XS Max for $399 but that sold out. Just wanted to know if there's a way I could take advantage of them in the future but guess not

I ported out the line I added to get the free line and lost it lol. I wanted to see if it would work because I realized that i was gonna lose it eventually because you need 2 paid lines to keep it after 12 months, and I was only gonna keep 1. Anyway, I complained and called and around $500 in credit so I'm set for more than a year ¯\_(ツ)_/¯. Only have 1 SWAC and 1 unlimited on us now.
Share my data point. I added 4 BYOD lines to my account to get the $250 promotion. As I don't need so many lines, I just ported out my 2nd paid line to H2O on 9/29. Just checked my account today (10/4) and free line is still there. Here are the points that I can think of and help to keep the free line.
1) Keep at least 2 paid lines in account
2) Lines which were added after the free line can be ported out
3) The free line is reserved, not active

Yeah I figured the main catch is to keep 2 active lines, if it drops to 1 you're screwed

Ok bill generated, and kickers got charge for all lines except one which is free.

So looks like its 1 line free only, thats fine ill just cancel the other lines and I did get the iPhone 11 Pro Max promo so thats a sweet deal too (even tho line is not free), its like 1000$ bill credits with eligible trade in.

I was mentally prepared anyways to have the lines getting charged, and I have SWAC so there are 0 activation fees.Just have pro rated charges for the lines for the bill cycle that cut in and the next month.Assuming I cancel the other lines out, the bill should adjust in the next cycle and remove the advance payment for the lines for the current cycle. Cool

You didn't get the iPhone 11 promo on the line that was free?

Yeah I ported the second paid line and lost 3rd. I lost the discount within 36 hours and received no notification about it, just checked online. To complain, I said a rep told me I could cancel a line(this was true). After quite a bit of waiting a supervisor said he'd credit me $470, which I of course accepted. I then ported back the line I cancelled for $50 credit(i got a text about this) and then ported it back out. So $520 in credit which will easily pay for my SWAC and June free line for the year.

And yeah, I'm like 99% sure you won't get to keep the free line if you have only 1 paid line after 12 months. Just like you, i have no need for more lines(whole point of me being on SWAC to begin with). Terms say you must maintain an eligible line count which would be 2 paid at the least, just like how T-Mobile does these. No matter what any rep promises you none of them have the power to restore the MAC code once it's gone because it's system generated and automatically removed.
Just to clarify the $50 port back credit, the rep told me that I have to keep the line active for at least 30 days to keep the credit. Otherwise the $50 initial credit will fall off. Is your $50 credit still there after you port the line out again.
I trust real user experience more than what rep said. Smilie

Mine is still there, but I think it depends on how they apply the credit. For me they just put it as an account credit so they can't really take it off. They gave me account credit cuz apparently SWAC didn't even qualify for legit winback credit?

Thanks a lot. My account is also SWAC and the rep gave me winback credit. She didn't challenge it.
You mentioned you ported back a line to get $50 credit and even got a text message. And then you ported out the line again. Is the $50 credit for winback?

Yeah, so when I ported back in after getting the text, the rep didn't tell me about the $50 credit. When I told the rep about it she said SWAC doesn't qualify. So I asked why I even got the text and then she just gave me the $50 credit manually after a brief wait. That's why I thought maybe SWAC doesn't actually qualify for it and she made an exception. She did mention something about 30 days I think but I ported our like a few minutes after seeing the credit lol.
