Q6R (last year's model) has better panel (120hz vs. 60), better image processor.
Unless you need HDMI 2.1, I say try to get a good deal on the Q6R.
Alternative is to save $200 and get Sony 850G 85" (currently out of stock, but it has been coming in and out of stock) from Costco but it may not be available and may not come in stock at all so if you need a TV soon, I guess try to look around for Q6R model. 850G has 120hz full back lit panel (no local dimming) not edge lit and at THAT price, it would be tough to beat in terms of specs and size.
