You do know you can switch out of S mode easily, right?
S can be upgraded to regular Windows (for free) see above post to Microsoft link.
This is a great laptop for a student doing virtual learning or casual surfers, good resolution 1920x1080, the storage can be expanded and for just over $300 in a COVID-19 world, not sure how much cheaper laptops will be for decent specs/resolution and 10th gen Intel professor.
You can easily switch out of it, I bought this and did it in no time at all, super easy.
