Yes this too. One day I was talking to my friends about food and that food recipe showed up on my echo 5! I didn't even ask. Obviously Alexa has been eavesdropping...

That can all be turned off in settings. Easy, no ads or info without asking, period

The 5" is simply too small. We actually gave away our 5 and purchased an 8" which has exponentially better speakers and is actually legible.

Nope. As I indicated, You are wrong. You are likely thinking of the Discover setting under Home Content. This has no effect on "Things to Try" that appear while using skills .. playing music, for example.

I thought it was just ours, so I exchanged it...nope it's all of them. The E5 mics suck...like really bad. A g3 dot or my OG echo will pick me up and answer in the next room before my E5 show.
