HOW TO GET AN EARLY ACCESS CODE:

Browse their site at Wilson . com. Click OK to accept their Cookie Policy. If you've previously accepted you may need to try a different browser. Browse to Outlet > Baseball

The offer will come up on the screen to enter your Email Address and receive the 40% off Early Access.

Good luck.
I navigated to Outlet > Baseball and then cleared my cache and cookies and after that was done hit refresh page. I got a popup to sign up for 40% off and the code was generated right after I hit enter.

I was thinking about getting Rawlings r9 series but how does a900 compare to r9? can some of you youth baseball experts chime in please? this is for a 10U travel kid. TIA.
Not sure how to answer your question directly as I'm not familiar w/ the R9 seris (though Google show me some pics and it looks like a nice glove). However regarding your 10U kid, we (I mean my wife) purchased my 2 boys the 11.5" A850 2 years ago, then 11 and 13. It's too small now (for both of them) for anything but pitching. They are both playing outfield now and could use a bigger glove, but neither of them want a bigger glove since they like their glove. I have a 12.5" glove I bought for coaching and I couldn't make my 15 y/o use 'dad's glove' to play outfield.

2 years later and the gloves are still in great shape. Kids have pitched, played infield and outfield w/ the A850. I love the glove, just wish it was a little bigger. It looks really small on my nearly 6' tall boys.

My advise: Get a good 12 or 12.25" glove that's universal between pitching, IF and OF. He'll break it in and grow into it and love it through High School.

Guess I should not complain about NOT spending $155 bucks on a nice A2000 glove that neither of them will use, but still. Almost too good to pass up. Maybe I need a new glove. LOL

Thanks for the detailed reply. R9 series supposedly replaced their gamer series and is all leather glove (pro grade glove for youth players - that's their marketing bs). Which I assume means there will be some break-in period. I bought him A500 couple of years ago for his rec play and he still loves it. Still in good shape. But since he just joined travel team he would need a little more durable glove sooner rather than later. Since he is more SS, FB and SB I was thinking 11.5" might be more appropriate for him. Looks like I might stick to A850 or A900 series after all.

Thanks roybok, any specific A2000 gloves you would suggest that meets this criteria?

Math is incorrect! I added to cart $233.96 and it shows only $78 discount, whats up with that?

Anybody else?

A lot of U16 kids are playing with the A2000. It looks like a great glove that will last a long time. Find one you like.

That makes the (A2000) glove $156, doesn't it? Which is what the post says.

They are advertising 40% off, like I pointed out , $233.96 minus 40% should be $93.58 off, NOT only $78.00, that's 33.5% off

The $223.96 is already 10% off of the MSRP of $260. You get 40% off of the MSRP = $155.

Baseball is a pretty difficult sport, but luckily there's not much Math involved. Make no bones about it, this is a great deal.

My friend , no doubt its a good deal, Im not arguing that. My cart shows me a $78.00 discount, where if I go buy your post of the MSRP being $260, my cart should reflect a discount of $104 and it only shows $78.00 and if they go by the discounted price of $233.00 my cart should reflect a discount of $93.00. My cart is reflecting a discount of 33%.= to $78.00. I really hope you play baseball better than you do math. I will call Wilson tomorrow and ask for an explanation.

Check this on your calculator. Isn't getting $78 off of $234 (33% off advertised price) the same as getting $104 off of $260 (40% off MSRP)?

The price, as advertised in the Original Post (OP) is $156 either way? Right?

Hope you enjoyed the math class my friend.

My 7y old went from Wilson A450 (very good first mitt for 5-6yr olds if you play a lot of ball) to the R9. The R9 is a legit leather glove. Very well made and super comfortable after a few outings. Was able to get it on AMZN warehouse for 55$ The Wilson 450-500 will not last. Synthetic product. You will get prob 2-3 seasons out of one..
