*** UPDATE -- free AAL ends COB Thursday, 9/24! ***

It appears that another T-Mobile "Line On Us" for existing customers is coming this Friday. No word on the duration of the promo. Voice lines only.

It also allegedly stacks with the prior free lines. I'll update with any cheap/free phone deals that may be available...

Look up your SOC code (pasted from prior deal thread -- can't create a Wiki for some reason):

How do I look up my SOC code?
If you want to know what your SOC code is, login using a web browser so you are looking at your account. Be sure to enable "Web Console". (FireFox --> Menu --> Web Developer --> Web Console) Pop over to the Network tab and look for an XHR request to "Subscriber".
you'll see your SOC Code in the Response section. For example, here is the relevant section:

````
{
"ratePlan": {
"name": "Simple Choice North America 10GB Family Match Promo",
"planType": "SIMPLECHOICE",
"socCode": "10SFM2LN"
}
}
````

You need to be on the "home" URL when you enable the tools. I've attached a screenshot that shows (circles) all of the areas you should be at or click to ensure you can see the SOC Code. Sorry if this is too complicated - just trying to share info.

For your plan code view in Chrome:
View>Developer>JavaScript Console. Then tap Network tab then XHR tab.
Then go to the main T-Mobile account homepage (the magenta square with white T in the upper left…or refresh it if already there).
In the Java window, single-tap Subscriber (or type it in the Filter search tab if you can't find it, then single-tap Subscriber)
Tap Response tab (if not already selected). In that long string, you will find the plan and socCode.

If you get a competent rep, he/she can re-assign the *paid line number* to the *free line number* and put the *paid line* in 'suspended mode with a temp number' while the transition occurs. Once done, he/she cancels the *paid line*

I've done this, but it took me nearly a month to finally get a rep who knew exactly how this done w/o screwing up your account.
That my man, is a hat trick of a hail mary from a unicorn, I've been trying for years to do this. The best solution was to get the new line, then port out the old number to gv and port over the free line. Kudos to your repApplause

That rep is a keeper. Rep like that is very hard to find. Most reps can't do thing right even if you tell them how to do it step by step.

Yes. If you have CS add it, sometime they try to tack on an assisted account fee (one time for around $25 I think) sometimes they waive it with a credit sometimes they don't.

I chatted with one rep before and she asked if I wanted to do it myself to avoid the fee. Another time I forgot about the fee and the rep didn't remind me...
thanks dishguy, but how do you know that the line was actually free? yeah I'm trying to avoid the fee, but I'm also trying to avoid an incompetent rep

My case: 4$ per month. Even though CSR told me I won't see 1$ increase in my bill.
Tmobile One should not see any increase taxes or fees becoz the plan setup by tmobile is its all inclusive for this one. I dont know which other plans are similar setups

Hope this doesn't cause major horror stories for folks with older plans like last time around
They always screw people with older plans. Infact they screwed my plan many times when I requested only to activate intl. outgoing.

If I get the free line tomorrow, can I go into the store in a few days to get the BOGO iPhone 11 Pro deal or do I have to buy the phones on the same day that I get the free line to get the BOGO promo? iPhone 11 and Pro are all out online so I have to find a store that has them in stock.

Any advice?
The way it works is the phone deal must run concurrent with the time you add the line so if you add a line on day 5 of free line deal running days 0-10 and the phone deal comes out day 9 you are eligible, however if you add the line days 9-10 and the phone deal is running days 11-15 you are not eligible, both must be concurrent.

with both reps I told them what I'm trying to do and with the first rep since I did it online, I don't now if she applied any code to it after I ordered online, but I think I remember asking her to check if it worked and she said yes. For this one, I'm planning on doing exactly this.

I had a rep like that, but since covid, their office is closed and I can't get a hold of her Frown don't want to stalk her on FB to find out how to get in touch with her, I think she's on twitter but I don't have twitter

Damn, looks like SoC USCFM4 will never get a free line again.
I have the same plan. Were the two lines just offered in June 2020 eligible?

Probably like you I plan to never get rid of this plan.

It was not eligible although some people were told it was and caused problems for them down the road. Took many calls for some to get it corrected.

nevermid iphone 7 plus does not qualify and fark that up $800 bullshit my ass

mofos would probably give me $200 credit towards a stupid $1200 phone and trapped in a 2 year plan no thanks

would rather a buy used iphone 11 pro unlocked from gazelle when apple decides to stop supporting the 7
7 doesn't have band 71, so b if you leave metro area coverage can be spotty to non-existent.
