*** UPDATE -- free AAL ends COB Thursday, 9/24! ***

It appears that another T-Mobile "Line On Us" for existing customers is coming this Friday. No word on the duration of the promo. Voice lines only.

It also allegedly stacks with the prior free lines. I'll update with any cheap/free phone deals that may be available...

Look up your SOC code (pasted from prior deal thread -- can't create a Wiki for some reason):

How do I look up my SOC code?
If you want to know what your SOC code is, login using a web browser so you are looking at your account. Be sure to enable "Web Console". (FireFox --> Menu --> Web Developer --> Web Console) Pop over to the Network tab and look for an XHR request to "Subscriber".
you'll see your SOC Code in the Response section. For example, here is the relevant section:

````
{
"ratePlan": {
"name": "Simple Choice North America 10GB Family Match Promo",
"planType": "SIMPLECHOICE",
"socCode": "10SFM2LN"
}
}
````

You need to be on the "home" URL when you enable the tools. I've attached a screenshot that shows (circles) all of the areas you should be at or click to ensure you can see the SOC Code. Sorry if this is too complicated - just trying to share info.

For your plan code view in Chrome:
View>Developer>JavaScript Console. Then tap Network tab then XHR tab.
Then go to the main T-Mobile account homepage (the magenta square with white T in the upper left…or refresh it if already there).
In the Java window, single-tap Subscriber (or type it in the Filter search tab if you can't find it, then single-tap Subscriber)
Tap Response tab (if not already selected). In that long string, you will find the plan and socCode.

If you're on a grandfather plan eg: Tmobile One with all the promos, the best way to get the free line is to add a line through your account online or in app so they don't mess with your promos.

I contacted via message app and the supervisor wasn't able to add the free line to my account. Told me to just add a line through Website or in App and free line discount will apply.

Currently max 8 line for my account with 3 free lines for $130 a month. Did have to pay $10 for SIM card going through online.

Don't know why the supervisor wasn't able to add the free line, kept say error on their end.

Also, the $20 assistance fee or whatever it's called is complete BS. Never heard of a $20 assistance fee plus a $10 sim card. Not only should you tell them to shove the $20, ask for $10 sim card credit as well.

Supervisor waived the $10 sim card but the rep gave me a hard time about it. Overall, I got the line and sim card at no charge.

I think ordering through your account allows you to choose your own # and won't screw with grandfather plan. I'm switching to this free line as my primary Data line since no kickback.

What is the promo and where do you add it online or in app. Mine didn't give me any place to add

When I did the order online, I got the confirmation immediately through email.

On the last free line in July, I think, they completely screwed up my plan and removed my promos and switched me from Tmobile One to Magenta. Took hours and multiple chats to get it resolved. it was a nightmare.

Chat, ask if you can add a line Online and be qualify for the promo so you have proof if for whatever reason it doesn't show up. Then add the line through your account. Much easier than dealing with these newbie reps.

If a rep is being a hardass, ask to be transfer to a supervisor. Supervisors are pretty good at customer satisfaction.

Not accusing you of lying but I think you're maybe misreading your bill. The credit is probably for something else.

With the last free line deal in July, there were countless people who got Kickback on the free line but it didn't do anything.

Maybe your account is special or has a glitch but if you're really getting $20 Kickback from your free lines, congrats.
Yes I have kickback on the free line and it states on the bill kickback for 5 lines with total saved. Once dig in the details the 10 off just gets taken off as a portion of the credit for the add a line.

Remember it's not.really a free line...they charge then do recurring credit

No Promo needed. As long as you added during the free period as was told by the Supervisor I was chatting with. It should show free line, no charge. May take a billing cycle or 2 but all charges will be credited once it takes effect so I was told by the Supervisor.

Guys I'm in Costco and they are offering a $100 Costco Shop card when you BYOD and activate it on T-Mobile. Promo valid from Sept 18-24. Does anyone know if this stacks with the free line promo?

Mann. I didn't realize so many ppl were still on 1st gen SC. I got shifted over to magenta after this exact free line promotion earlier this year. I already had 8 lines and I wanted this promotion but couldn't get it. Apparently magenta is 13 lines and is the "same thing" as simple choice. Well now I can't steam higher than 720p on YT but overall i am happy with my coverage and speeds.

Placed my order over the phone and asked tforce to review it. They said all good and I have proof that my promos should apply.

If you're on one of the grandfather plan with all the promos, check the email confirmation. If it shows anything with the word "Magenta" or a different plan. Prepare for hours with Tmobile to revert your plan back.

I have 3 lines (2paid+1free from July deal) already. I have 2 lines can be ported in from at&t. If I port in the 4th with free, 5th as a paid. After getting the $250 for both of them, I can cancel the 5th without touching the and 3rd freeline (from July deal) and 4th freeline (this time), right?
