*** UPDATE -- free AAL ends COB Thursday, 9/24! ***

It appears that another T-Mobile "Line On Us" for existing customers is coming this Friday. No word on the duration of the promo. Voice lines only.

It also allegedly stacks with the prior free lines. I'll update with any cheap/free phone deals that may be available...

Look up your SOC code (pasted from prior deal thread -- can't create a Wiki for some reason):

How do I look up my SOC code?
If you want to know what your SOC code is, login using a web browser so you are looking at your account. Be sure to enable "Web Console". (FireFox --> Menu --> Web Developer --> Web Console) Pop over to the Network tab and look for an XHR request to "Subscriber".
you'll see your SOC Code in the Response section. For example, here is the relevant section:

````
{
"ratePlan": {
"name": "Simple Choice North America 10GB Family Match Promo",
"planType": "SIMPLECHOICE",
"socCode": "10SFM2LN"
}
}
````

You need to be on the "home" URL when you enable the tools. I've attached a screenshot that shows (circles) all of the areas you should be at or click to ensure you can see the SOC Code. Sorry if this is too complicated - just trying to share info.

For your plan code view in Chrome:
View>Developer>JavaScript Console. Then tap Network tab then XHR tab.
Then go to the main T-Mobile account homepage (the magenta square with white T in the upper left…or refresh it if already there).
In the Java window, single-tap Subscriber (or type it in the Filter search tab if you can't find it, then single-tap Subscriber)
Tap Response tab (if not already selected). In that long string, you will find the plan and socCode.

I am on $120/month for 4 lines Simple Choice plan NAFUTT4. After adding the free line the month bill amount went up by $20 and is now listed as $140 on my online account. I checked with t-mobile rep via chat and he says the free line is setup correctly and i will be receiving $20 credit every month. Is this how it works?

For those who signed up for earlier June/July free line promotion, is this how it works for them. I missed the July free line promotion so wanted to check.

Should I try the store instead? Thanks
If you know your account qualifies for the free line, you can add it yourself online. It'll look like you're going to pay $20/mo (whatever it is for your account) for the line when you check out but the promotion discount will show up in a day or so once the new line is setup. Cost is $10 for the sim card.

If you don't know whether your account qualifies for the promotion or not, follow the steps on the first page of this thread, look up your SOC code and compare it to the eligible codes in the list. If your code is on the list and you haven't maxed out the # of lines on your account, you should feel comfortable adding a line however it's most convenient for you (online, phone, in-store). If it's too complicated looking up your SOC code, you can call again and chat with a different rep, message T-Force on Twitter/Facebook, or go into store. Presumably T-Force is the most knowledgeable level of support.

So I used to have the One Plus Promo a year and a half ago, then switched to the One plan with Netflix. Apparently I lost the promo at the time, I had it on 4 lines. Just tried a Rep and she said she couldn't add it back now since the promo is grandfathered only in. Should I try another rep and escalate it??

For those wanting to port a number out of TMO then port back, I believe that you can port out to Google Voice (some say there is a $20 fee to port into GV) and set that account up to forward all calls to the TMO line. So in theory you won't need to port back into TMO down the road and the GV number is safe to forward to whatever line/provider you want in the future.

I have been doing this for many years with my GV number so I expect that still works unless GV terms have changed.
Thank you

My SIM order just shipped but I don't see new number assigned to the order. How long did it take? Did you get another text for new line added? I won't get the SIM until later since it is shipped via UPS ground.

Nm. I see number populated in my account.
Yes, don't worry, I don't have my SIM yet either. but the number is assignment, I got the confirmations texts, and then under my main plan the 2020 LINE ON US 2 is applied. That's what we care about. ;-)

Try T-force and ask them nicely and politely by saying that you are a long term customer with T-mobile and when they switched the plans, the rep didn't add back the oneplus promo. They usually oblige, but it is on a case by case basis.

I got same additional bill.

How long did it take to apply the 2020 LINE ON US2 to your plan? I got my iPhone today, but I don't see the promotion in my plan.

Yea it was T-Force that I tried it with 😅. Everyone says they're more helpful for stuff like this. Can you escalate through T-Force? Should I just keep trying? You think there are logs kept on the account that a rep would see me trying over and over trying to get the same thing??

I did the free line and Iphone Pro Max deal yesterday throught App Chat, gave them trade-in and port-in information and placed an order for the Promax 64GB.
Today I got the "port in success text message", also see the discounts show up on my account for "2020 Line" and "Apple trade", got the shipping notice for the new phone, will send in XR trade in later.
Tmobile rep waived $10 sim fee, $20 service fee, and give extra $100 credit for Pro-MAx and the Pro is out of stock.
The only thing missing in the account the the extra $100 credit, I will talk to them later after set up the new phone.
So far so good, and good luck every one Smilie

Rep changed plan and ordered the SIM?
Yes rep changed the plan when they ordered the sim...now I have to try and get my corporate discount back since that's missing too.

They have logs, but I doubt that matters. It's not like you're asking for a credit you're not entitled to.

The reason you're having a hard time is because of how long you waited to ask. If you had asked when it happened, they certainly would have added it back.

It all depends on the rep. If you catch a good one they will do anything for a long standing customer. You can try saying that you didn't realize until now that the oneplus promo wasn't added back and thought it would be automatically applied after change of plan. No guarantee it will work due to time lapse, but it doesn't hurt trying a couple of different reps.
On my account, one rep said he couldn't extend the oneplus promo to the new free line in July. When I added the 2nd free line this week, I asked if oneplus promo could be added to my 2 new lines, and the rep did it without any problem.

When adding a free line, we will be charged monthly taxes, which can't be waived right?

This is true. It is always rep dependent. It would have been much more likely, though, if hadn't been so long ago. It's certainly more of an uphill battle now than it would have been when it happened.
