Lavazza blue is a different machine and these are not compatible with Nespresso.
I picked up the LB910 machine last year for $50 and have really enjoyed this Lavazza blue system. For those of you who don't know, it's an espresso pod system, it can't do drip type coffee, tea, or mixed milk drinks straight out of the machine. It's aimed at businesses (think auto dealers, dr office waiting rooms, etc.)

Years ago I had a (half) decent Gaggia silver espresso machine, but it was kind of a hassle to pull a shot. The combo of convenience, consistency, and cost (of pods) I don't think can be beat with the Lavazza blue system.

The intenso pods are amongst my favorite as a nice full bodies espresso. $25 per hundred is actually a very good price historically. I think I have paid around $32-35 on decent sales. For the 2x (double shot) pods, I got some on sale 100 for $40, which is also historically low. So .25/pod here looks good IMO, but I still have to work through the hundreds I already have thanks to SD! lol

I've never heard of Lavazzaa Blue. Are these different than Lavazza'a Nespresso pods? In other words, are these compatible with Nespresso machines?

I could have written this. I have Espresso flowing in my veins now.

My only concern is the expiry date, which is not noted.

Yeah, it stinks that they don't mention the best by or exp date. I figure whatever date they put on them is way more of a suggestion - I have bought expired decaf lavazza blue pods off ebay and I haven't noticed any difference except price.

Those answers are 3 months old, so this stock should be newer. Should.

I almost exclusively use my shots in milk drinks, so honestly I wouldn't be able to tell the difference between most of the medium to strong pods. I have tried intenso, dolce gusto, and the pink version of expert line (not sure exactly what the flavor is), and the bright blue (not light blue) decaf, and they are all good. I can notice a difference between the single shots and the 2x pods.

Ditto on this. IMO the Lavazza BLUE is a better espresso system than the Nespresso and Nespresso Vertuo pods. And yes, my parents literally have 3 pod-espresso-machines on their wet bar. My 1st-hand experience with the Nespresso system* never pulled me in because it was always very weak relative to what I doing with my semi-automatics. Then the Lavazza BLUE came along and its combination of strengths (which includes the fact that I could keep another LB910 in my work cubicle) actually got me to put away the semi-automatics.**

* The Vertuo machine fell into my lap after discovering the Lavazza BLUE system. It was an interesting thing that had some neat tricks, but the espresso output did not beat the focused, no-trick, maybe brute-force (by way of big pods with more grounds) Lavazza BLUE.

** I am not saying that the Lavazza BLUE is better than the best of what is possible with a quality semiautiomatic. But the Lavazza BLUE is certainly more consistent and many-folds more convenient than what I have done with semi-automatics. Whether those strengths outweigh the ritual and artistry of grinding/pressing/pulling-your-own is a matter of personal preference and present lifestyle.

Take it as you will, but the pretty Nespresso/Vertuo pods are a great conversation starter for guests (when they were a thing before the new normal/abnormal).

Really good deal on these, about half off what they normally charge. Intenso is my favorite version of these, although I have enjoyed the Ricco as well.
