Has anyone tried the Sprint version of this deal?

Offer number 2020BYOD1

Although that sounds the same as the T-mo deal, I will NOT touch a Sprint deal again after the horrible experience that I and others had with their deal that we did recently: long required service (90 days), headaches with denied rewards due to unclear reasons (Invalid channel, Invalid activation date, Missing this, Missing that....), unpaid rewards, reps attempted to deny the rewards because I also did their referral program. The list of problems is endless.

Good to know. T&Cs are exactly same like T-M. Reactivate the voice lines first is the issue.
Yep, the terms are identical. Looks like this promo is modeled after Sprint's recent promo. it says "After rebate via virtual prepaid card. Complete port-in and register code within 30 days of activation.Card is issued by MetaBankᆴ, Must be active and in good standing when card is processed. Allow 6-8 weeks from fulfillment of offer requirements".

* It might take up to 90 days to get your GCs. My guess is that they'll wait 30 days after your activation to check and see if you register + 6-8 weeks to process the reward.
* The GCs are issued by MetaBank. Based on the Sprint deal, Virtual GCs issued by MetaBank are a PITA (or impossible) to cash out.
* Hopefully they won't use Rebates HQ/Black Hawk to process the rewards.

With the T-mo deal that I did in Apr-June, the Virtual GCs (issued by Sunrise Bank) were texted to the phones exactly 30 days after activation, and was a breeze to have the cash sent overnight to your bank account with no fees.

Very true. We are able to login to our closed Sprint accounts till now which is blocking T-M offers now. Again it will be nightmare to deal with Sprint Chat and Tech Support Mad

I will try to port in one number now with this offer in T-M. Have you opted for Magenta plan with 4 lines $140/month in Apr-June?. TIA.

Me neither. I'm bringing 4 new numbers from AT&T (2 from my current AT&T deal and 2 just bought on Ebay today).
What did you search for on ebay...want to be sure I get thr right product. Did those numbers port for you in to this deal? Thanks very much

When I did that deal, I selected Essential 4-line, which after taxes & fees came out to $139.xx. Could've gone with Magenta 4-line for $140.

I search for "AT&T number port". Lots of sellers, but I chose seller ignatto because he's been around since 2015 and has 100% feedback. The numbers are good for 21 days and were delivered within 10 minutes but I've sold them to another forum member. His numbers are only available for a limited number of area codes. But nowadays people keep their mobile numbers when moving, so it's not unusual to have phone numbers that are not "local" to your address.

I went with the Magenta plan for 4 lines at $140 (would be $112 once my 20% insider hookup code kick in next month). I didn't want any surprises with taxes and fees in NY that is why I didn't opt for the Essentials plan.

This deal is kind of confusing as essentially all you have to do is port in a AT&T line, buy a SIM card (t-mobile) and you get $250?

I'm working with rep to combine it with the free line making it my 3rd line and it will be free. Costing me 7$ (AT&T line) $10 SIM card for a profit of $233

How do you transfer to a bank account? Also, what number did you use to port-in?

I did the previous T-mo BYOD $200 Deal in April this year with 4 lines. The GC codes were sent to the phones exactly 30 days after activation. I transferred their balances to my bank account the next day. Then waited another 10 days and called T-mo to cancel the lines and close the account. No "clawback" on the GCs. They also sent me a partial refund for the 2nd month about 4 weeks later.

What plan should I pick for this deal to maximize the profit?

Yes, AT&T porting numbers from eBay work like a charm.

When I did that deal, I used four AT&T numbers bought on Ebay. See post #174 for other info.
