That would be a sweet deal then. I know I added 4 new lines with TMO thru Costco in July. I summited my rebates for $100 each line that same night. Then I ordered 4 new phones from TMO online by doing a upgrade on those lines. Well anyways those lines qualified for T-mobile current promos because it was done within the 14 day remorse period.

I bought 2 iPhone SE 2020 for $200 off each, a one plus 8 for $350 off and a iPhone 11 for $700 off with eligible port in plus trading in a iPhone 8. So most people on Slickdeals told me I would not get both Promo. Anyways I just checked on rebate status yesterday and I was approved for all 4 rebates and it said mailing date was 9-17. I'm pretty stoked about this deal.

Yes, I'm lucky. Didn't expect to get two free lines when I was in store. But saw it when I got back to home and checked my online account. Still not sure whether it will stick until the first bill got generated.
you should be fine. monitor it for a few days and double check. its totally possible that the promo lasted longer than anyone thought. glad you were able to get in on this action. good for you. of course, if you lose the free line on us, it would be difficult to fight, but im sure youre OK.

im also assuming youre not interested in any of the device promos and would rather have 4 x $250 BYOD money. im not an apple fanboy, but iphoney 12 prelaunch oct 13th. if ur interested, you should wait, but i guess you could add more lines and go EIP anyway.

Uh oh, hope this doesn't affect the #s purchased on eBay:

"AT&T only: AT&T customers may be required to validate the port request by replying to an SMS sent from AT&T. If a customer does need to verify their port with AT&T, they will have 4 hours to respond to the SMS sent to their mobile number by AT&T, and T-Mobile will need to resubmit their port after verification with AT&T.

You'll get a text message from T-Mobile to let you know the porting process started."
this is not a issue. its a no-port security feature. i wish all carriers had exactly this. thats standard language. whenever I call the (Account Transfer Center: 877-789-3106), the outsourced team in the philippines always reads me that disclosure. and I had always wanted to ask why TMO doesnt have this. but TMO has other features so hopefully it prevents SIM hijack.

any ebay numbers you buy shouldnt have this feature turned on. otherwise, i would question the source.

Quote from anthony.tomlins :
T-Mobile sent this to me on Facebook Messenger. I haven't received the SIM cards yet but received email from T-Mobile stating my account was now active & gave me the temp #s. I was trying to go ahead & port the #s over but since my 4 BYOD devices don't all have eSIM I suppose I have to wait on new SIMs. I purchased from ebay seller Re-lux.
Quote from bethi :
Re-lux buyer is good. But act fast you might miss it. Contact t-mobile customer support to purchase SIM card , online ordering might get you delayed
i also buy from relux. hes very responsive and fast. answers all my inquiries quickly. if anyone is interested, heres the exact item i get (https://www.ebay.com/itm/254565218033). all ports have worked.

Quote from s1ickdea1z :
12 digits as well.
yes. mine are 12 digits from relux. when i call the transfer team, they tell me its supposed to be 9 digits. but it still works.

Ordered new line on 9/25 through online and my SIM is still in transit. I chatted with FB T-Force and asked them to activate that line to my XS eSIM and port in my AT&T number. He was very helpful. First he activated my new line and asked me to test outgoing calls from XS. It was success. After that he ported in my AT&T number and port in was completed within few minutes. He also waived off $20 assistance fee.

If you are waiting for new SIM, try to activate through eSIM and port in your AT&T number which will help you to port in before 10/1. - No hurry. We have 30 days for port in and reward submission. IMO, it is better to port in before 10/1 and to avoid issues like Sprint.

Edit - T&C - Complete port-in and register code within 30 days of activation
yea, i was really confused why everyone was rushing for the 10/01 deadline, but i wasnt super clear on the terms either. then another poster had some useful info. see below.

Purchase date.

I am not 100% sure about the activated by date as all my SIM cards came pre-activated already, but I would assume you have 30 days to do so also if not pre-activated already because you can't just expect people to activate it on the same day they order it online.

The following are the terms from the Sprint BYOD promo, which is the same promo as the T-Mobile BYOD promo, but with much clearer terms on the purchase date and submission date:

Let's get started

Make sure your phone is active before registering

Offer number 2020BYOD1

Customers can get a $250 Rebate when they BYOD, activate a new line of service, and port in a number.

Purchase dates
09/18/2020 – 10/01/2020

Yes, if there is good deal for iPhone 12, I may add more lines.

I am porting 4 #s to maximize the BYOD deal. If I cancel line 4 after receiving the rebate, would I lose the 3rd line free?

Can I change the #s used for initial porting/activation by porting different #s to replace the initial #s without losing the 20% Hookup or the 3rd line free?
I've been trying to find a clear answer on canceling lines added after the free line. I think in your case, if you did it all on one order, then you have to keep all 4 lines for a year.

If you added the 4th line later, it usually has been safe to cancel whenever. But employees on the T-Mobile reddit have all said that ANY lines canceled within a year means you lose the free lines.

Not sure what's correct, but people have posted that T-Force is telling people it's both ok and it's not ok.

thanks for the update. Mine shows some progress. My guess it will be delivered tomorrow. T-Mob should allow the SIM to be picked up tomorrow or just ship it overnight like Visible does.
No delivery date yet. So not coming in today. What a crappy service. Even the first class mail would have been here by now. Very poor shipping arrangement.

Keep refreshing reddit posts every 5, 10 minutes. Other useful option if someone posted a bunch of type 1 code even if they are in old post you may find one that works .. ymmv

Just confirming again , lookup code needs to be on the port in number which can be att . not on the temp sim phone numbers .

Also , is the hookup code and 3rd line free the only ones stacking at this time ? Or should I do something else before port in !
