For everyone who keeps questioning the warranty information:

The boxes in the warehouse have an additional packet of warranty information attached to the boxes. (At least they do here locally.)

So even though the box is printed with a 3-year warranty on it, the additional information explains the extension of the 3 year warranty to 5 years.

(And yes, if you use the Costco Visa credit card, that tacks on an additional 2 years, making it 7 years total.)

Hope this helps clarify things a bit...

Sony's pushing it as part of their "PS5 Ready" series and is actually one of the few TV's capable of gaming 4K at 120 Frames...however this tv will not do it out the box until a firmware update Sony has yet to push. I mean you bought this way back in July. So you've enjoyed this TV for about 2 months while others patiently waited. Maybe just go to Costco and see if they will price adjust without all the hassles of returning. Cause you returning will just cause your TV to get sent back to Sony and they will then have to sell it as refurbished and then reship it somewhere else to sell. The carbon footprint of all this is huge.

Again buy something that you feel like is a great price and if it drops who cares. If you have a problem with the tv that's one thing to complain about and the return policy is there to help if thats the case but if you enjoy the tv and you are out of the 30 day price match stop complaining about price drops.

what's the online-only experience like with costco and TVs? is this expected to sell out quickly or unknown? I have an order from Dell for the same TV and it's an absolute cluster. Three weeks ago and still no delivery date set.

Why do so many TVs these days have the legs so far out? We recently replaced a 15 year old Samsung plasma that lost picture (sound was okay). Went with the Sony only to see that it wouldn't fit our TV stand which tapers off from the second half. The legs stick out a bit too much. Ended up returning for another Samsung which has the leg stand in the middle. This TV has the same legs near the edges. Not a good design IMO. Not worth it get another stand just to have a Sony.

Probably more stable. Less tv's falling over from being put on stands that are undersized. They being said, some of these legs that angle out can sometimes be swapped with each other to angle in.
