Damn, like everyone said, wish the 55" was on sale
Me too... Maybe come BF. Was hoping to get another 55"; scored a 55" X950G at B & H Photo on BF last year for $798.

Got one! Now I need to find a center mounted stand to use for it instead of the stock one. Anyone doing the same and can recommend a specific model?

It literally says sold and shipped by Amazon.com so what are you talking about?
It does now. When it was posted, it was a 3rd party seller, and the Amazon price was $1399.

Picked up a Vizio P-Series last week for the same price, https://www.costco.com/vizio-65%2...84686.html

Thoughts on if I should take that back for this?

I gave you a like for the idea but so you know if you bought Oct 25 technically the 30 day window ends Nov 23 (unless they go by the day of the month) and BF is Nov 27.
Costco return policy is 90 days so don't open the tv and you can return it if the tv goes on sale for BF. But I have never seen a tv which is on sale at Costco one month before BF which drops in price just for BF.

More expensive and less warranty period unfortunately

Because there's no 4K 120 Hz HDMI 2.1 source, not because the TV doesn't support it.

You wish it was more on sale. It's currently $50 off normal listed price (and now with a 5 year warranty)

That's because they didn't push out the HDMI 2.1 firmware update yet. I was thinking of something though I wonder if it will never be released for this TV because it's a different model number & those of us getting this for PS5/Xbox Series X future proofing may never get the upgrade. There were a couple of posts on reviews that when Sony was contacted they didn't even know the model number existed which makes me wonder if the firmware update will come out. I have a Hisense H9F currently and that TV has been great just upgrading for PS5 compatibility.

Also Best Buy actually price matched the X900h to $969.99 so they one upped Amazon.

Also for military you can get tax free at The Exchange for $999 (but not as great of a warranty as Costco). Posted last week on SD.
Even better is right now there is 0% APR AND zero payments for 12 months (plus the no tax) with the AAFES credit card .. (plus the tv will be $849 in a few days AND the APR Deal will still be active - until november)

They offer great extended warranty optiosn as well for a very aggressive price, if u like to buy those

For a $850 - $1000 tv im not too worried about having or needing a lengthy 5 year warranty anyway....

and in case anyone missednit FYI - the costco deal says sony is the 5 year warranty provider (not via costco) .... so dont expect costco level service if u have an issue. Sony will not be as kind or quick or as happy to help ...
