Based on the information from this thread and another community, I created a guide so that more people can hopefully navigate this deal easier and so questions won't be continuously repeated.

Because this will be a living document, I created a Google Doc for ease of updates: https://docs.google.com/document/...sp=sharing

Note: I am not a T-Mobile employee and this is my first-time doing a trade-in with a Hookup code, so I am learning alongside most people here; thus, my guide may not be fully accurate. Feel free to make suggestions for corrections if you notice any mistakes or parts that lack clarity. And if you found my guide helpful, please post a response here just so I know and will continue doing these. Thank you.

I hope this helps,
Tofu Vic

Since this involves a trade-in, just want to remind folks that you can trade-in in person at a T-mobile corporate location and by doing so, avoid any surprises from mailing in your device

Starting 9/25 get a Galaxy S20 FE 5G for just $200 over 24 months via bill credits when you trade in an eligible device:

Apple: iPhone 11, XS Series, XR, X, 8 Series, iPhone 7 series
Samsung: Galaxy S10 series, Galaxy Note10 series, Galaxy S9 series, Galaxy Note9, Galaxy S8 series, Galaxy Note8, Galaxy S7 series
Google: Pixel 4/4XL, Pixel 3A/3AXL, 3/3XL
OnePlus: 8, 8 Pro, 7T Pro McLaren, 7T, 7, 7 Pro, 6, 6T
LG: V60 ThinQ, G8 ThinQ, G7 ThinQ, V50 ThinQ, V40 ThinQ

Or get one free via bill credits when you add a line.

THIS STACKS WITH THE $200 HOOKUP CODE! Remember, only one Insider Hookup code per account, whether it's the 20% or the $200. See here for details on that promo. Please do not ask for hookup codes in this post.

Please note: This WILL NOT stack with the free line. The free line ends 9/24, and this phone promo begins 9/25. There is NO WAY to get this phone for free using the free line. Please don't bother support trying to do it.

https://www.t-mobile.com/cell-pho...-s20-fe-5g

Click the magenta text at the top of the page to see the offer for $500 off. Must be logged in to see the offer. To see the "free with add a line" offer, open in incognito. Please note the $500 off page currently says "when you add a line and trade in" but the adding a line part is a typo and not necessary.

I was able to get the promo code for the $200 off 5g phone. I am using Tmobile app and don't where to enter the code. Please help.
Note that this the code is not for $200 off the phone purchase, but a rebate in the form of a virtual prepaid card. You will have to use the code at https://insider.t-mobile.com/ once you have the S20 FE's IMEI number.

For more information, please see steps 1, 4, 5, and 6 of my guide for more information.

I hope this helps,
Tofu Vic

where did you get the code? reddit or discord?
Message me if you still need a type 3 code. I found a few on reddit yesterday. I just claimed one for my order, and have a few left.

I got a type 3 code and tried to redeem it but of course can't register it since I don't have the phone's IMEI. Would I lose the code or will it be on my account now? Thanks!

I believe you have 14 days to redeem the code once you activated it on insider.t-mobile.com. You can view at the bottom of the page it should say "It looks like you've already started a submission, click here to resume." Once you redeemed it.

I have a pixel 3XL and have not kept up with the camera technology since, is this phone the same or better with low light (compared to night sight)?

Nope, once you reserve the code with your phone #, nobody else can claim it.

You can check this by going to https://insider.t-mobile.com/lookup and entering your code. If it has been reserved to a number, then it would show "Invites Reserved: 1" and "Invites Available: 0". Un-reserved code would show "Invites Reserved: 0" / "Invites Available: 1"

I am only able to send two PM per 360 minutes. If you PM me maybe I can reply to you. I'm not sure if I can post the codes directly on this forum and you also don't want someone else grabbing the code.

is this phone better than the iphone 11 pro??

What about the oneplus 7t phone??
Comparable in size to the Oneplus 7t (Which is a GREAT device) Camera, processor, wireless charging, IP 68 certified make it better. Ram, Gorilla Glass make Oneplus 7t Better. iPhone 11 pro is worth much more than either of the mentioned android devices.
