Did you activate and sign up for autopay? It's not a YMMV. It's a...you need to do these steps.
With Auto Pay, yes. I was at the step where he asked me to swipe my card. I passed at that point

He said $249 + $50. Asked for my email and some other personal information to set up my account. Then asked to swipe my card, and I asked what's the total
If you never swiped your card you'd never see the discount. The system can't discount until it knows you signed up for autopay with a valid card. Once you do auto pay it will packed the price down.

Just got mine. Actually 149 plus 50 air time pljs tax, came up to 226 not bad
The one for 99 is actually an iphone 7 32gb plus 50 air time
