anyone figure out the price of the xs max in store? for at&T
Like all other postpaid, carrier iPhones at Walmart, these have 2 prices. The "regular price" is $850 for XS, $950 for XS Max + increments for more memory. The carrier upgrade price has been $400 for XS, $500 for XS Max regardless of memory size (shows as instant discount factored into monthly payments) ever since the beginning of the year as Walmart was clearing these out.

For the purposes of this promotion, the carrier upgrade price seems to have gone up to match regular price and in exchange you get a big GC, so in that sense it's old wine in new bottles. I reserved a XS Max myself, but don't have my hopes up and fully expect to walk out of the upgrade appointment empty-handed not for a lack of phones but rather not really a good deal compared to what Walmart has been selling these for all year long.

What u guys are planning to do with e gift cards?
Can we buy visa card with this?
Go to Sam's Club instead of Costco.

Pay for gas at Sam Club Gas, Walmart Gas, Murphy's gas.

Buy stuff off Walmart.com instead of Amazon.

Buy stuff at Walmart in store.

Buy gift cards of other more specialized stores and restaurants at Walmart.

You can sell them online for around 90% value.

Ok, got this figured out for Cricket users all of the below can be done in 24 hours.

Go in to WM buy at&t phones with any plan.(not sure if you will get the E gift card if you cancel it within 3 days. to be safe go in get it quicker)
You should get the wm e-gift card in the same day.
Go in AT&T store pay off the phone(s)
Cancel service within 3 days of activation.

You should have phone, gift card, and no contract with AT&T and activation fee paid refunded.

For cricket users, no need to wait to unlock.

T&C
" Your Termination Rights. Within the first 14 days after service activation, you may terminate your Agreement for any reason and not be required to pay an ETF. If you terminate within three (3) days of accepting the Agreement, AT&T will refund your activation fee, if any. However, you agree to pay AT&T for all fees, charges, and other amounts incurred and owed under your Agreement, and you agree to return to AT&T any Equipment you purchased from AT&T in connection with your Service Commitment. If you fail to return this Equipment, you will be charged the difference between the amount you paid AT&T for the Equipment and the amount you would have been charged for the Equipment had you not agreed to a Service Commitment. AT&T also may charge you a restocking fee for any returned Equipment. Some dealers may impose additional fees."

My dumbass didn't update the billing address for the order. I tried canceling my order and ordering again but now I can't. My original order is stuck in "pending cancellation" so idk if it's gonna go through, or drop off later after the deal is over so I won't be able to order again smh

What is the difference of cancel the service within 14 days or after 14 days for Att? No matter what need to pay one month service fee, right?

After the first 14 days, you may terminate your Agreement for any reason. However, you agree to pay AT&T for all fees, charges, and other amounts incurred and owed under your Agreement along with the applicable ETF. The Early Termination Fee is either: (a) $325 or (b) $150. The ETF reduces each full month of your Service Commitment that you complete. To determine whether your Equipment has a $325 Early Termination Fee or a $150 Early Termination Fee, and the amount of reduction, check att.com/equipmentETF.

Thanks for the response. I read the contact it said "Prepayment: if you pay off your debt early, you will not pay a penalty." So I guess no early termination fee?

No, I paid off the phone in full (thru rep chat) after activating new line.. now planning to cancel the contract within 14 days and wait for 60 days to get it unlocked .. and use on my existing prepaid wireless carrier. Has anyone done this ?
In this case, for example if cancel on 10th day, need to pay one month service and activation fee?

I did this deal for the 11 in-store this afternoon. The paperwork clearly says:

Contact start date - 11/14
Contract end date- 11/14
Contract Duration- 0 months.
Deposit-$0
ETF - 0
Activation fee- $25.

Hope this helps someone.
