Made a comment on the clearance thread last week about this. Seeing more stores in the area that dropped to $10 so good luck.

Can someone explain how brickseek works? So if it says the Walmart close by has it for $10, is that in store price? Because the website says retail price.

Yes. Check the store, and the stock they have is the brickseek price.

Generally yes, it should come up as $10 when scanned. But walmarts website will almost always come up normal price.

Yes. Even if it says limited stock go in and check. Don't call because sometimes the workers will say they have 0 in stock and put them in the back for them to buy

Nice find. Next time I'm in store I check them out. Spending $10 to keep the kids busy isn't a bad deal.

Do NOT call the store. Go in the store and look for yourself.

Thanks! I went to Walmart yesterday and got Ni No Kuni for $10. Now I just went back and picked up a copy of Tsum Tsum festival. These will make great Christmas presents.

Where do you usually look for this? In the game section or in the clearance section?

I second this. Employees tend to keep it to themselves. I always have zero even when my Walmart says more than 6 in stock.

Should be in locked cabinet. Need Walmart employee to unlock.

My Walmart stated it for $30. When scanned showed $10. And that's why they didn't know.

I second this. I got Ni No Kuni last week for $10. It was marked $30 but rang as $10. Now if only I could find tsum tsum in my area. Ugh.

Since you seem unfamiliar with brickseek it's worth pointing out that their inventory counts are not always accurate. In fact I'd say that 4 out if 5 times when it says a location has plenty of stock I'll go to the store, look for it, not find it, then ask am associate who will confirm that they do not have any stock of the product I'm looking for.

In other words, call the store to make sure, and if it's a big item it's probably worth asking the associate to see if they can physically locate the product in question before you drive out.
BrickSeek pulls their numbers which I have verified by purchasing an item and watching the number go down on BrickSeek within an hour. What is actually happening is Walmart's own inventory counts are not accurate. They have some of the worst shrink of any B&M store out there, with the possible exception of some Dollar Stores.
