Picked up one of these at the local HD in Washington state. Seems like a good deal for a set that includes the larger wrenches since those can cost $10+ each.

saw these on their website earlier today. My local store doesn't have them or else I might have picked a set up on lunch today on impulse. Looks like a good deal and I might order a set since they have free shipping. EDIT, ah screw it, I ordered a set. Some of the other stuff on special buy is getting jacked up a day or so after it hits the website. I guess you snooze, you lose. If they go lower I can always return them. Thanks OP for the reminder.

just ordered this.. i think this was a special buy last fall

im seeing value in the larger wrenches this year..

. and as the OP wrote.. the larger wrenches by themselves, may be worth the asking price.

Got a very very similar set last year, and they got the job done and seem super durable for the price. I'm just a DIY wrencher at home, working on cars, trucks and bikes .

at a little over a dollar a piece..its an INSANE deal, when you factor in that these come with the larger wrenches.

Trying to decide if this is worth it, given that I already have a Craftsman 44098 28 piece set... I mean, I could just buy a few bigger wrenches and complete my set, rather than buying this and having a bunch of duplicates

There will be situations that you need duplicates (or a same size wrench.)

I guess since most folks are using the ratchet style wrenches, these are to be blown out.

there are a couple other SD posts on different sets.

The quality is good for the price. The finish on the set I got is ok and I don't notice any obvious quality defects. Considering the lifetime warranty (just take it to the store and exchange it for another), I wouldn't be too worried.
